Pros: love the brightness . it was bright enfu to brun black foam and i ran it on a 18650 in a flashlight boady.
Cons: didnt pop a black ballon or lite a match tried too trun up power with the pot a half trun bruned it out
had to solder a switch by pass and a spring on
Other: you cant beat the out put for the price and it gets though costums (so far) have order a 2nd 1 it not shiping yet.

Pros: Great module! Not a pointer. Good for bench top setups or for larger devices that require a powerful green laser.
Cons: Barrel shape. pushbutton as aposed to a switch or bare contacts... but the button is easy to solder to.
Other: If you can't even solder, this just needs a power source. A square or box design would be nice, but overall a decent build with quite a few applications. I really hope to see other frequencies offered soon. Combined with a similar power red and blue, blue/violet you could make a nice "laser show" unit. The second DX sells red, green, and blue modules like this one I'm going to have to try this: http://laserpointerforums.com/f64/fs-white-fusion-laser-mixing-kit-42013.html

Pros: Just arrived today, was able to put it into the http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.91 body within about 10 minutes. The wires that came attached appeared to be hot glued on, so they came off easily (didnt need to de-solder, just picked at them with fingernail).
From what I have read, this was the only way I know of to legally get a >5mW laser in the US.
Beam is visible during the day (overcast day, not in full sun). It's not super-visible, but it is there.
Very bright - I still have a stock <5mW that I can run right next to it - hard to say, but I would say it is about 5-10 times brighter, with superb visible beam in a dark room.
Cons: REALLY bright, probably not great for my eyes. Still have a bit of a dot in my vision after watching it on a balloon for a few seconds.
Other: Best option if you live in the States for a >5mW laser. Be careful!

Pros: I am an astronomer and nothing helps when trying to point out the stars that make up a constillation than a green laser pointer. Since you cannot by a powerful Green laser legally in most of the USA I opted to purchase this module. It came as pictured. I simple went top radio shack and purchased a AAA battery case $1.98, spliced and soldered the wires, monted the pointer to the batter case with 2 way foam tape, electrical tapes the whole thing including the driver board and WAM... lights matches, lights up a dark room, the beam is visible in non sun light areas and an night is like a beacon into the universe.
Cons: Did you read the above... NONE

Pros: + Cheap. Fantastic price for a high power green laser. + The focus could be shifted by changing the position of the second (furthest away from the laser source). Just turn the last cylinder.
Cons: - One of the wires came off. Had to resolder new wire. - Could see dust in the glue that holds the crystal. - Could not focus to a small spot.
Other: Very powerful laser. Should be used with great care.¨

Pros: - Extremely reasonable price for the power - Very bright and powerful - Excellent beam quality: ~low divergence ~good collimation lens - No external driver required
Cons: - Leads for power are a bit flimsy: positive lead tore off after some time - Driver circuit heats up considerably after some time of continuous use
Other: I will say again that this laser is a steal of a buy and is excellent value for money. Those looking for a small powerful laser will be thrilled because although the laser supplies about a hundred and eighty milliwatts rather than the stated 200mW it still packs a pretty good punch. Those who are concerned with too much power can bear in mind that the driver for the laser has a pot which can be trimmed with a small screwdriver to reach the desired power output thus making it very flexible for setting the desired output. A must have, whether it be for projects, hobby or just pure fun!!!

Pros: - Very Bright - Good price for power - Very visible at night - Does burn, only black material though.
Cons: - Power leads are weak, I bought one for my friend and he broke them off after just having for 2 hours. Its easy to resolder on a new stronger wire though. - I've bought about three and they seem to have different power levels.
Other: Very good green laser module for a decent price. Would recommend.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Ease of use ( When building and using ) Power ( Brightness and strenth ) Quality ( Pretty good except for the wires )
Cons: Size ( A little big but still understandable ) Bad Soldiers ( Breaks easy just be careful )
Other: Suggested for beginners! But if buying for use of burning stuff make sure you are using 5v power source it is amazing!!! But be careful its bright and would burn your eyes permanently
