200W Car 12V to 220V Power Inverter with USB Power Port

Pros: ~ Small and lightweight ~ Cutoff and other safety features ~ Accepts US, EU and AU plugs. I think it would fit UK plugs too but I haven't properly checked yet. ~ Runs everything I have thrown at it. I've used it with several notebook chargers, a CRT TV and light bulbs. ~

Cons: ~ Cable needs to be double the length it already is. ~ Contacts on 12v plug are very stiff and sometimes don't lock into the socket, and the positive terminal's spring is so powerful it can eject the plug out of the socket. I had to put a new plug on mine. ~ Internally, the 220v mains lines aren't as insulated as they should be. They're also flimsy and if this thing got a big knock they could come off the mains socket and short on the body, creating a hazard. Putting better lines and a heatshrink is recommended.

Other: Worth a buy, but I'd mainly recommend it to people who are handy with electronics or DIY who can fix a few of the issues it has. I find the product very useful.

Pros: one of the best products they already bought. use almost every day to charge cell phone and laptop. is more powerful than I need because taking my car provides only 180w. very useful, serves to carry anything. has an LED that indicates when it is on and an audible signal to warn when it is not well connected. has a fan for cooling, it is very quiet.

Cons: I have nothing against. great product. perhaps could be a pocuo cheaper.
