Cons: The push button. You have to solder shut if you want an always on feature.

Wires are colored red and blue. Blue is positive. Kind of weird.

BE CAREFUL. I can damage your eyes even if it is just a reflection the beam.

Pros: - Bi-focusable (convergent/divergent lenses) - includes full driver and button (color assorted :D mine is black) - at the negative wire you can insert a spring for connecting to cells, on a host - removing all the lenses, you expose the frequency doubler crystal, that outputs at least 50mw of power at 1mm², with pops a ballon, light a match and more... (focused as a common laser it just heats skin) OVERSPEC! :D

Cons: wires fall off very easily, but this is not intended for exposed use (use in a host) maybe the pot is very dangerous, if you touch it, it may burn the diode. NO IR FILTER (but easy to insert one, a STRONG ONE, because the laser even lights matches, think about the filter ;))

Other: <3 DX! lasers lovers will have a heart-attack when turning this on! Has the size of a AAA cell! Deal class: EXTREME (5/5)!

Pros: Bright, very Visible Beam, adjustable power output, good build quality, 2 removable lenses (shown in picture) makes the cat go insane, Great for signaling extraterrestrials, most amazing laser i've ever owned.

Cons: i obviously didn't get the same laser as the one reviewer who commented that it burns matches. doesn't even heat my skin, even without the IR filter. That wasn't advertised by DX though, so it's not false advertisement or a true 'Con'. Using it for aiming my sniper rifle, the enemy easily traced my point of origin by following the Intense green beam emitted at night. this can be solved by adjusting the potentiometer until the beam is invisible.

Other: Very awesome laser. My first green laser, and although it does not burn things, it does make a very visible beam in the night sky, and even more brighter if there is smoke involved.

Pros: -Low price
-Powerful, bright dot, visible beam with long range
-Easy to disassemble the optics and modify
-Contains a driver circuit, only 2 AA batteries needed

Cons: -No IR filter, but that's OK, because the price is very good

Other: If you need a green laser for anything except burning, this is the best choice.

Cons: The son (+ and -) are very fragile, they must be soldering.
I think that a component are break because it does not work anymore when I put the son "minus" where he was to be made??, I can put it just before the resistance

Cons: Big variation between units. Spot size and brightness varies. Some units are slightly longer than others. The turn-on times also vary.

Other: Great for the price, but don't expect something professional. Only worthwhile for hobby projects. Professional 20mW laser modules normally cost over $100.

Other: If you look for an bright and cheap laser, where you want to see the beam, this would be your product. But I have to add something: The workmanship varies from product to product. My lasers had no soldered wires and one laser had not the best case. But for the price, this are really good lasers.

Pros: - the laser diode can be easily replaced - driver circuit is included - very low price - easy use in any hobby - You can really see the beam in night

Cons: - low quality - the output power is not 20mW (only2,5 = the diode is 20mW) - if there is no cooling, the diode dies - the leads arent soldered on, looks like hotglued in the driver board -At the end of the laser thread can not receive screw

Other: Besides normal use there is no problem with it.

Pros: Good build quality, strong clear beam. Instead of try adjusting the focusing lens, turning the whole outer brass assembly a couple of rounds counterclockwise, a burning focus may be established about 10 cm from the laser. The original focus was adjusted perfectly!

Cons: Output is 20-30 mW when cold, but decreases til less than 20 mW when heating up after a couple of minutes use. This may be fixed by using a sort of external cooling of this module.

Other: Good laser for this price. 4.5/5.

Pros: - Really bright laser. - The beam is easy to focus. - Really cheap! - Useable for a simple laser projector

Cons: - The wires let go easily, mine were already loose when i received it. - After a minute of use, the beam weakens. It gets too hot i guess. - The laser i received didn't had a blue resistor on it like on the image.

Other: If you want to upgrade your current laserpointer, or use it into a project: this one is perfect.
