    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Real glass, not plastic or acrylic. Looks pretty as a flashlight lens. When focused to pecise distance, projects LED rather well.

    Cons: Not the brightness or exact effect I was hoping for. Projecting just the emitter die with no spill is fun for throw, but pretty useless as a torch that you would use for most practical purposes.

    Other: If you think you have an application for this piece, then at this price, why not try one?
