23.36mm Optics/Light Diffusers for Cree Emitters (Glass/5-Pack)

Pros: I got this for one of my bike lights and liked the results so much that I used the remaining 4 to mod my other flashlights. Its a great item to have if you need a more useful light when all you own are powerful throwers. They easily snap on directy to LED's so set up is easy.

Cons: I am worried that the plastic body might melt in flashlights that get really hot. Also when you replace your reflector with this much smaller diffuser, it doesn't look as nice.

Other: I bought it out of curiosity and am quite happy with its usefulness.

As this is the first lens i've ever bought, i'd say it comes with the lens holder looking at other websites
The price is good but I took a risk due to the lack of detail by DX - it paid off! exactly what i was looking for!

They are exactly what I was looking for! and $3 cheaper than anywhere else!

Pros: It fits perfectly on the Cree Q5 emitters. The installation cannot be any easier. If you want it to stay on permanently, just add a drop of glue and you are done. The optics is very good too. It produces a nice roughly 10 degree round bright spot with even surrounding.

Cons: It is made of plastic, not glass as shown in the description. So heat could be a concern if you run your emitter hot. The I am not sure what kind of coating they use on the reflector, there is light leaks through the reflector.

Other: Excellent fit, easy installation, good performance optics, these are very good buy. I'll recommend these and I'll buy again if I need more.

Pros: Ridiculous price. I would have paid this sum for one of them had I known how good they were. Installation is done in a second. You don't even have to glue it ones its snapped on. I put it on a R2 premium star. Beam profile is perfect for bicycling. Unlike many other optics it has some reflective coating on the outside, so very little light is lost. Small enough to fit in many flashligt hosts.

Cons: None what so ever.

Other: Probably the best deal I've made on DX so far.

Other: Highly recommended.

Pros: Gives a nice beam and seems to be very efficient. Seems excellent for flashlights or spots (it has a narrow beam).

Cons: Not so easy to mount; there are no screw holes or another easy way to get grip on the reflector. With LED sku.13612 the beam center is blueish and the edge is greenish/yellow, but this is a fault of the LED.

Other: Buy these if you need a narrow beam (or want RGB color effects).

Pros: Fits so snugly on sku.15943 that I'm afraid I'll break the LED if I try to pull it off. No glue required for this LED/optics combination. It also works well on sku.4516, and gives a wider beam, but it won't stay on without glue.

Cons: none so far.

Other: Great optics, great price, I will buy these again!

Pros: I was surprised at how well I liked these given the price and given the fact that they are plastic. They just snap on to Cree XR-E emitters and produce a beam that is better (in my opinion) than the two aluminum reflectors that I replaced. They appear to have a nice well defined 8 degree hotspot and some spill that doesn't have a hard outer edge like the reflector produced.

Cons: None really except that they aren't glass and would probably be easy to scratch while installing.

Other: Since you get 5 for $3 or whatever it is and you can try them out without even having to glue them on there's no reason not to experiment with some of your XR-E lights. I wish more varieties of optics specifically designed for Cree XR-E emitters were available to customize lights.

Pros: Very compact and light, these lenses clip onto the CREE emitters very firmly - so much that taking the lens off can be enough to damage the emitter. Very efficient at focusing the light into a tight beam - probably about 8 degrees. Simple but brilliant.

Cons: None really. Shame you don't sell 30, 45, 60 and 80 degree ones that attach themselves to CREE emitters like these.

Other: It would be nice to have these in different beam widths, but these are great lenses at a great price. Fantastic for making small torches too.

Pros: I had doubts about the degree of the lens but as I get the first thing I did was provide them with the protractor. They fit in very well CREE LED, while removing costs a little

Cons: The interior would be nice to come painted in silver, I painted and I have gotten a lot more light.

Other: I would like to have glasses like this but more variety of angles, could make a 5-SKU assortment grade lenses for example 8, 15, 30, 50, 90 and also consegir double optical lenses concentrate 30 degrees and 5 degrees a time to make my ideal front and give a lot of envy
