28-LED Third Brake / Tail Light for Vehicles (12V)

Pros: Works great, very bright, very simple wiring, red is positive, black goes to negative (duh)

Cons: The wire comes out the side which makes it harder to hide. I just took it apart and drilled a hole in the middle so that the wire came out along the arm instead.

Other: Excellent buy, I bought it because my car's 3rd brake light on the wing burnt out and I couldn't find the wiring. This worked great as a third brake light replacement. Very visible too

Pros: Very pretty, good price and works really nice. The instalation is also not such a big problem if you know how to deal with cars of course. The light is pretty bright so you can see perfectly and of course let the car really cute!

Cons: Only the price is a bit salty but the rest i have really no cons.

Other: If you are looking for a break light, its a very good one!

Can withstand vibrations from subs in the trunk (the reason why i had to take out the stock brake light because I kept on blowing bulbs)

Other: Good for what it is at a good price for a replacement 3rd brake light. It could be bigger and brighter though, but i'm not complaining.

Pros: It actually works. well. all the LEDs light like they should, and they don't seem like junk. Really bright light output.

Cons: Why the heck would the wire be coming out of the SIDE of the light? I took the whole thingapart andrerouted the (20ga) wire through an existing hole along the mounting stalk, and through another existing hole out through the mount. It isn't noticable anymore,though the wire DOES stick out a tiny bit. Covered it in a black marker. Also, what the heck does "super intelligent high led stop beam led sign" mean, and why is it written on my light? it made me laugh hysterically when I opened the package for the first time and read it. That MAY be a pro for some of you out there. Like for the guys with the Type R light-up windshield washer nozzles, or the people who put the stickers from all the junk they put in their cars on the rear windows... like the "Hi-Pow performance fuel pump" sticker I saw the other day, or the "'Performance Part' performance racing chairs" sticker on a honda outside of my apartment last night.

Other: it works well enough, and looks less ridiculous than some other options I've seen. As I mentioned above, works best on a normal car, but I threw it in a hatchback without much of a problem. Best part is it's simply made so you can easily rewire or change the mounting setup without it looking like crap. And the silkscreened writing can be removed with an eraser and elbow grease.

Pros: Cost is very good, build quality and mountings are reasonable.

Cons: The horizontal beam angle is good due to a curved PCB holding the LEDs; however the vertical beam angle is very narrow, so you have to point the beam exactly at driver's eye level.
As another poster mentioned, the wire should really come out of the middle (nothing a pair of snips and a screwdriver can't fix in under a minute).

Other: Good brake light at a great price.

Pros: Took only minutes to mount in my old 1981 Benz - mounted at the top - ran wiring around window, down through a hole in the rear panel straight into the boot and to the brake light fittings and bingo all working just fine. Had to add a couple of meters of wire - but easily done. Also adjusted the wiring to come from the centre of the unit in a few moments - screw driver and a sharp knife to drill a hole and it was done.

Cons: Watch out for the 3M tape - when it grabs it is on for life :-) - I have a tinted rear window and the 3M just grabbed as I was positioning it. Ended up about 1/2 an inch away from where I wanted it but, that's life :-)

Other: For the price - this is an excellent 3rd Brake light - dead easy to install and works well.

Pros: Works great. Was very easy to install. The double sided foam tape works great and I didnt even need to put screws in the supplied holes.

Cons: The blubs could be a little brighter (but they are more than visible as is). The light could use a better way of hiding the wires (they come out of the light, on the side away from the connecting plate). If they were run inside of the plastic, into the mounting plate it would be much much much less visible.
The light would also benefit from a "hood" so that there is no reflection into the vehicle when pressing the brake pedal. Not a big issue, but a little annoying when I am looking in the mirror while pressing the brakes

Other: I would recommend this 3rd brake light to anyone who's vehicle did not come with one from the factory. A little DIY knowledge of vehicle wiring will be required to install it, and to run the wiring to one of the rear brake light wires.
All in all a great easy, simple, and useful DIY project :)

Pros: The item has a good looking design. It is lighweight, so you don't have to think about how to mount it safely - the tape will work fine. Swivel design is very useful solution due to limited LED beam angle. Energy efficiency of this item is extremely high due to very bright LED design.

Cons: Could not find any cons.

Other: This item provides more safety while driving. Obviously, LED flashes much faster then the incandescent. Therefore, this reduces the brake reaction time for drivers behind. Some extra milliseconds could mean some extra meters of distance even in city speeds.

Pros: The item has a good looking design. It is lighweight, so you don't have to think about how to mount it safely - the tape will work fine. Swivel design is very useful solution due to limited LED beam angle. Energy efficiency of this item is extremely high due to very bright LED design.

Pros: Bright light. The LED is very bright. The double sided tape is of good quality and I could stick the tail lamp without any fuss. Even after a week the tail lamp is holding up. Hope it will stay! It helped that there is a circuit diagram on the package to help in installation.

Cons: I didn't receive the two screws, though the tape is sufficient.

Other: I would highly recommend this product to anyone not having a third stop lamp in the car. LEDs are bright and installation is easy.
