Pros: Original Minipa product, not a cheapest copy. Excellent build quality, large numbers display with white backlight, hold function, shows the highest and lowest values measured. A really good product that worths every penny!

Cons: Only that the battery that came with mine was "dead".

Other: An essential device for anyone involved in electronics, both hobbyists to advanced users. Easy to use and comes with manual in Chinese and English. You can buy without fear, it values much more than the price being charged!

Other: The temperature measurement is done both internally and externally to the meter simply connect the probe, the probe bind only advise on and off the tips they can give evidence of error in reading

Pros: Great quality, tips, cables and case very good, the battery worked perfectly, it is an indispensable tool for any professional in the field of electrical and electronics.

Cons: It's a shame, my Minipa ET-997 came without the option of lighting for the display instead of the ad and ET-997 that was sent to Laurelli, the symbol has no hold / light, just hold, I was bummed about that because it helps the night shift! This is the only one against.

Other: It is a tool for both hobbyist and professionals in electronics, with cost-effective, comes with manual in Chinese and English, you can buy without fear, because it works very well and has great quality. In Brazil it is equivalent to ET-2075b and it costs around U.S. $ 75.00.

Pros: The Et-997 is outstanding multimeter where you can use very easylly.
I made tests on Voltage DC and AC. Resistance, Capacitancy, Frequency, temperature and diode measurements.
Easy to read the measurements and the backlight improves the measurement view when the light is poor.

Cons: The temperature have a little error when measuring temperature above 200 celsius.
Below that value the error is almost 5% an above is more than 20 %.
The manual is very poor.

Pros: This product is very good! It has a sturdy construction and feels solid at hand. The display includes a horizontal bar graph that responds very quickly (the numeric display only updates a few times per second).

Cons: Aside the fact that it does not measure very low (pF) capacitances, it's perfect.

Other: For the price, buy it! At least here in Brazil similar Minipa models cost way above US$ 100.00!

Other: Very good quality in general. It's a original Minipa product. You will get a carying case which is very nice. Temeprature sensor and a test leads. And a 9 Volt battery.

If you need a good and durable multimeter in a reasonable price, you should buy this!

Pros: This is the best multimeter you can get for this price. It have all the functions that a good multimeter should have. Comes with good test leads, Temperature probe, the case and the battery (mine came ok).
It Have backlight too.
In my country it costs more than 100 dollars + shipping. It arrived in 23 days.

Cons: Manual could be better.

Other: Buy it and you'll have a very practical equipment that will help a lot in anythinhg that involve eletricity and will last a long time, with a good precision and a low price.

Pros: Very nice multimeter. - The instruction booklet that comes with it is not very long, but it has sufficiently English instructions that are understandable and clear. - The device is powered by a single 9V battery. - DC & AC voltage, capacitance, resistance, current, frequency & temperature measures. - All the functions appear to be sufficiently accurate. I cannot verify them exactly though. - Test leads are sharp and not flimsy at all. - The battery that came with it has not expired yet. - It comes with a very nice protective pouch.

Cons: - The capacitance measuring range could be larger.

Other: For this price I expected something significantly worse, but I actually got a multimeter I can be satisfied with for a long time, assuming it doesn't break.

Pros: Very good device. High quality of assembly is a lot of functions, an automatic choice of ranges, high precision of measurements, display illumination very much helps, the button for measurement the maximum and minimum values of electric parameters - very useful thing long wires of big section the Big display some scales for control..... Very universal device. All possible functions are collected in one and the normal price.

Cons: I didn't find minuses
