Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Solid casing
- Rubber grip
- Graph bar
- Auto power off (can be turned off)
- Clear english manual (Chinese standards)
Cons: - No backlight!
- AAA batteries (I prefer a 6F22 9v battery)
- No RS232 (logical for this price)
- Temperature measurement is not accurate
Other: Good multimeter for use every day and DIY.
Even for a pro's basic measurements.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very nice multimeter, big display and accurate. I have made voltage and current comparisons with my Fluke multimeter and it is accurate (if the Fluke is correct. It seems very durable with the protective orange material.
Cons: None
Other: I'd like to see a multimeter like this connected to PC with USB cable.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Large 3.0 "LCD screen, large numbers of electron-analogue scale. multimeter automatically realizes the necessary evidence, for example, when measuring the resistance of the device automatically selects Om, Kom, Mom, and also by measuring the voltage and amperage. You can choose to display the measurements display in an automatic and manual mode. Thresholds can be set measurements, freeze the values. There is a continuity sound. Convenient protective pouch.
Cons: No built-in backlight. No connection to a computer via an RS-232. Few long automatic calibration at startup. Maybe not completely figured out, but the description says that it is possible to measure the capacitance to 2000mF, small containers to measure failed, but more than 1000 mF why it did not work, maybe they were corrupted ...
Other: In general, a multimeter is completely satisfied, despite the many disadvantages of not all of them are more than outweighed gains. Taking up his usual tester, and now I can not imagine how to do without him:) Overall I recommend.

Pros: This is my first multimeter ever. I wanted to get an expensive one off of DX, because an expensive one here would definitely be better than the cheap ones in store.
One definite pro is the price! For 32$ you get a great multimeter, much better than the ones you would buy for even 150$!
It has a very solid feeling to it, doesn't feel like it will break anytime soon.
Auto off feature, so it doesn't kill your batteries.
Temperature! This is a great help. I screwed up a couple of my first circuits, and I used the wrong resistors. With this tool, I got the temperature to see if it was okay to grab.
HUUUUGE SCREEN. It's gigantic, no problems seeing the numbers from quite far away.
Quality leads come with it. There is no reason to get any other pair, but a replacement pair wouldn't hurt.
Cons: None. I'm currently using this to tell Voltages and resistance, and for that it's perfect.
Other: Best buy on all of DX. It is a solid, professional looking multimeter. If you're in the market for your first meter, or a replacement, this is the one to get.

Pros: This is my first digital multimeter, and my first multimeter for that matter, and I'm loving it. It's big, I like that, It's somewhat heavy, I like that to, and looks really nice. Comes with a good pair of test leads but I bought separatly another pair, just to be certain. It's not written there but this multimeter measures capacitance as well, and goes to 2000 uf. Measures nf as well.
Cons: -none that I could think of;
Other: I liked it, it's cheap and great for this money. Yeah, I know, the backlight, but...for this money. I bought this insteed of minipa found on DX because of the transistor hfe test.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Well built - strong case, well-made test leads, just like Fluke.
Many values to measure.
Good accuracy in V & A measurements, compared to reference lab multimeter.
Big screen with linear gauge - very comfortable to read values.
Autorange.
Good looking ;)
Cons: No backlight, why not add couple of LEDs?
Slow reaction in circuit testing (beep) mode - when shortening leads, 'beep' appears with ~0.5-1 sec delay and disappears with same delay - a bit annoying.
Other: If you looking for some universal measuring device - you find it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good meter that has most of the functions I want as a hobbyst, and simple to use with its autorange. Shows the same measurements as my 10 years old DVM92 : I hope it means that my other meter is still good, and not the other way.
Cons: Continuity test is slow. I prefer to use another meter for that. The autorange could be a bit faster, but it's not that bad.
Other: It has done the job so far.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: · Way cheaper then what I can get ahold of around these parts. · Got a big display! I can actually use it without my glasses! · Something to grow in. Its beyond my league atm, but I'll learn. If you look at it, you want to learn how to use it! · Solid rubber protective case. · Temperature.
Cons: Not Free opensource hardware. (Doubt you can make one yourself for this price, though.) No backlight. (Hack it! aka not really a con.)
Other: == Need one of these or giving it as a present to someone? Buy it!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Everything worked as is. Big display. A lot of functionality. Rubber grip. Graph bar. Auto power off.
Cons: Construction quality is not particulary good. Plastic case seems a little bith easy to brake. Not so good sound. Low quality probes. No backlight. No open source software. No PC connectivity. Temperature measurement is not so accurate indeed.
Other: Good equipment for this money. Good for hobbits, not for professional use. Nevertheless, a good product.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great number of functions; nice built quality; measurement accuracy; english manual.
Cons: No backlight; shaky back stand.
Other: The item maybe still have some slowness during digital measuring, but it's ok for home use.
