Pros: Price cannot be beat for a front panel. I've check and SDHC cards seem to work fine.
Cons: What's the point of having two SD card slots if you seemingly can only ever use one of them at a time? Most multi-card readers I've seen will show up with a separate "Removable Disc" drive in Windows for each slot, but this seems to have one drive appear and whatever card you put in first will show up as that drive. Populating both SD slots resulted in only one being accessible, and I imagine the other card slots on here would be in the same situation. At least using both a card slot and the USB at the same time seems to work.
Also the cable for the internal USB connector to the motherboard is a bit short. I had to put it in a different bay than I'd planned because it was just ever so slightly shorter than it'd need to be, an extra inch would have been more than enough but sadly that wasn't the case. YMMV.
Other: For $5 I can't really complain much. It's cheap, seems to work, but definitely has some... peculiarities. If I were buying again I'd spring for something a little better, but it's not quite so bad as to make me want to replace it now that I've got it.

Pros: Unexpensive. Works well with Linux. Reads SDHC cards just fine. Real high speed USB 2.0 device.
Cons: One thing one could count as a con is that the reader is been detected as one device only. That means you can only insert one card at a time. It is not much of a problem, but could have been useful to be able to read multiple cards at the same time, especially as this particular reader has two SD slots.
Another thing one could count as a con is the build quality. The whole device is made of plastic. No big deal, but other card readers have a metal case.
Other: If you need an internal SD/SDHC/MMC or MS/M2 reader, this is the right device for you.
Beware that it does not support Compact Flash.

Pros: easy to use
works well with all cards and usb devices
a good replacement for the unused floppy drive
Cons: a pity it cant use two cards at same time
i did have to rewire the plug on it but my strange motherboard was to blame for not having a standard front usb socket not the card reader
Other: if you need a card reader get one you dont really need the floppy disk drive anymore replace it with this

Pros: Very useful to have a card reader and a usb port on the front of my computer. I believe the usb port is a direct line to the motherboard, so it will work regardless of the state of the card reader.
Cons: I wish the card readers were spring-loaded, but it's not a big deal. It shows up in windows explorer whether you have a card in it or not; this is kind of annoying because at first you will confuse which is which.
Other: It's a cheap way to add a media card reader and a front usb port to your desktop. Considering that every laptop has a memory card slot, you might as well get one on your desktop.

Pros: I have a cheap PC case with the USB ports on the side, which makes connecting and removing a USB drive awkward. I fit these ports to the front of the case but it looked ugly and because I filed down the soldering the performance was temperamental.
This card reader is a much neater solution and the USB port does perform at USB 2.0 speeds.
Item actually works, which can be a concern in this price range.
Cons: Red LEDs may clash with the other LEDs on your PC.
A removable drive permanently appears in My Computer (for Windows users). This can be hidden, DX may not like me posting a web address so do a search on hiding a drive letter. You will have to type the drive letter in the address bar to access any cards though.
Other: The price makes up for any shortcomings.

Pros: Can take SDHC. Cheap. Standard USB mobo connector. Has little light to show you that you put a card in.
You can have a card in a slot and a USB device on the USB slot working at the same time.
Cons: The USB slot came defective. I had to fix it and now it is working fine.
They tag TF and M2 wrong. Meaning that the one that is tagged M2 works with my microsd.
No compact flash reader. The USB slot and the MS slot are upside down.
Can only show the content of one card at a time which is the first one you plug in.
Other: You get what you pay for. It works after minor adjustment. Be sure to check the orientation if the card readers before putting a card in.

Pros: Cheap. Reads SDHC & standard SD cards, with MS/TF/M2 cards (I don't have any to test)
One USB port (Upside DOWN so things need plugged in in reverse)
Cons: USB Port was faulty, one of the pins was unsoldered, I re-soldered it and now it is ok.
One USB port (Upside DOWN so things need plugged in in reverse)
Other: Good at the price, but build quality/QA is lacking

Pros: - SDHC works (7 pro 64bits) ;
- USB works (7 pro 64bits) ;
- no driver needed (7 pro 64bits) ;
- 16GB SDHC : write 9MB/s ;
- 16GB SDHC : read 20MB/s ;
- only $4.80 ! ;
Cons: - poor build quality ;
- internal USB cable is a bit short ;
- sometimes, some unknown USB device appears on device manager and the reader do not work. red led goes off. Just reboot computer and it works again ;
- plastic face blocks cards because poor build quality ;
Other: If you need some card reader but won't use it much, this is cheapest you can get and it just works.
Try to install it so you can plug it to motherboard, because cable is short.

Pros: As the description says, a card reader and USB port to replace a 3 1/2 " floppy drive. It fits, the cable was long enough, it lights up,BUT half the slots do not work.
Cons: The build is light plastic, which needed some manipulation to get it back to a rectangular shape and some plastic glue to keep everything together. At least half the card slots do not work, the light comes on and nothing else.
Other: Cheap and half working, pays yer money....
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Fits neatly into an unused floppy-disk bay. Installation is simple if your motherboard has a USB2 header within reach. Nicely packaged and labelled in English. Discreet black bezel. Showed up correctly under Ubuntu Linux, when attached to an Intel motherboard. Reads/writes both USB and memory card media. Competitively priced: I have seen identical items, identically packaged, at the local computer shops (in Belgium) for 5 to 6 times the DX price.
Cons: The four mounting screws supplied with my unit were too thin to reliably catch the edges of the screw-holes in the plastic walls of the device. I simply replaced them with standard coarse-thread PC screws, which self-tapped and hold securely. The cable for connecting the unit to the motherboard header is not very long. The orange power LED might not be to everyone's taste, but is easily covered, if necessary.
Other: Astounding functionality for the price. I am sorry I didn't order a few more, so that each PC in the house could have one.
