3.5-inch PC Front Bay Internal Card Reader and USB Hub

Pros: This really is a nice little product for the price. The build quality is good too. As with most memory card readers, the slots where more then one type of card goes in feel flimsy.

Cons: USB is not powered (while it is, but I think I blew it out because I plugged a hub in it and it stopped working). Sometimes it is flaky. This can be a real problem....

Other: If your in need of a memory card reader that will do the job for cheap. Heck, throw away your floppy drive .

I do suggest that you buy the $11 one like this if you can though, it appears to work slightly better.

Pros: Look as on the pictures. Can be connected directly to the motherbard. And that is all of it.

Cons: Very bad build quality. Internal USB flat (!) cable is not shielded so it pickes up all the electronic noise inside the computer. This causes non-reliable operation. I have added some 100nF capacitors to the PCB to improve operation slightly.

Other: Not worth of this money. I have it installed but disconnected. I don't use it. Recommend buying this one: sku.25113
