3.5" Internal PCI-E to USB 3.0 Host + All-in-1 Card Reader Combo

Pros: Very easy to install, works very nicely. In fact, I have found it to be working better and faster than the USB 2.0 plugs I have originally in my computer with other USB 2.0 devices. It also works as publicited with USB3.0 devices, as my Western Digital external hard disc. It works nicely with all sort of memory cards: I use microSD, SD, XD and memory stick

Cons: None I am aware of..

Other: Go for it.

Pros: This device is easily installed, has an attractive price and high quality made??! An additional advantage - the ports are USB v3 on the front of the computer, there is no need to use extension cords or go to the dusty side of your computer. Included the screws (after the installation is not fully used up.) Cords of sufficient length, they are quite flexible and seal (in my case - two different system blocks) was simple.

Cons: PCI-E connector after installation is flimsy and must be further block of spontaneous loss, especially if you install the plug PCI-E x1 connector inside slot PCI-E x4 ... 16.

Other: Overall - a great unit with excellent price. Plug this - and your computer is ready for SuperSpeed ??USB v3!

Pros: Makes it possible to get increased USB speeds without USB 3.0 support on the mainboard.
I had problems copying from USB disks to USB sticks (machine wouold freeze and it'd take forever), but now transfer speeds are around 2 - 10 Mb/s (which is a huge improvement) and it doesn't freeze any more.

Cons: Not always responding (needs a pc restart) when I put in a USB stick.
A bit tight to fit it in my 2.5" slot.
Had to put my Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo in upside down.

Other: I would recommend this to upgrade your pc. And especially if you have loads of USB drives and sticks.

Pros: The build quality of this product seems to be better than expected! It's actually well made!
The installation of the item went quite well and installing the drivers from the included dvd went smoothly.
The cables are somewhat of a perfect length. I'm using this in an XPredator full tower case (a really big one) and managed to install it without problems.
The ports really seem to be USB 3.0 seeming it's connected via PCIe and the card reader is USB 2.0, testing some cards gave satisfying results.

Cons: The red "power" LED is very bright and stays lit up after the PC is powered off (unless the power supply is deconnected ofcourse). Other than this, there were no problems and I don't expect this to change.

Other: You can't go wrong with this item (if you have enough room in your pc, that is)

Pros: Good quality and good product. The idea of an easy USB 3.0 upgrade is very nice.
Very good price.

Cons: I'm experiencing some problems in instalation. The computer don't recognize it and I can't install the drivers to use the product. Still working on it and let everybody know as soon as solved. If anybody has an possible solution, plese let me know by mail (carlos.arabian@gmail.com).
It was a little hard to fit it in my 3.5'' slot but after enter, everything is OK.

Other: After solved the issue I think it will be an excelente product with very fast transfer rate.

Pros: Four USB 3.0 ports on the front panel. That is very very cool. Card-Reader works out of the box. USB 3.0 Driver was installed without any problems (Win 7 x64).

Cons: 1. New version with backplate had a problem described in here: http://club.dealextreme.com/forums/Forums.dx/threadid.1127088 . That is -1 to build quality. 2. Too bright red LED indicator (see the pictures). You can use the black marker to darken it. But actually I can't think of a reason it should be there in the first place. Floppies and DVD-s were fine without it.

Other: Worth buying. I hope in the future the price for USB3.0 devices will lower. But even now it is a good thing if you use Flash drives for movies or portable software.

Pros: - Good Price - Built quality is good - 4 USB 3.0 ports is really nice! - The speed tested is incredible with USB 3.0 external drive. Works as fast as an internal drive!

Cons: - The Card reader in some cases is slower that expected. Just a little bit and just in some cases but it happens. - The LED is always ON (showing that it is powered) and may be annoying for some people.

Other: If you need 4 nice USB 3.0 plug on you "old" computer front, this is it! Very nice. And you also get a useful card reader pack with it.

Pros: Simple to install.
Someone said it doesn't fit well into the 3.5" bay.. like all devices (usually HD's) going into those bays, if you've tightly screwed in other devices, it should be loosened first prior to trying to install the newer device into the same (shared) bay. worked fine.

Cons: Yes, the LED is a bit bright..
Someone said the new mounting bracket makes it impossible to install correctly.. This is true.. however, instead of removing the bracket completely, I cut 5-6mm off the bottom of it and it was perfect (it is too long so the cable does not seat flush with the PCI-E port). A little annoying, but better than having no mounting bracket at all.

Other: Great multi-purpose device.
4 USB3.0 ports is awesome!
So is a dedicated microSDHC/TF slot!

Pros: Quality is superb! The actual PCIe x1 connector came with a bracket that can be screwed in for a sturdy and unmovable connection. The USB 3.0 ports work fast and seem to be reliable.

Cons: I am not very happy that the device needs 3 separate connections to be made to work. and the old style molex connector needed in the back of the device caused me to use a extension cable as the one on my power supply was on the same cable as the sata power cable but this isn't really a con. The only major problem I have notices so far is that my nano receiver that came with a logitech m505 mouse is not working correctly when plugged into the usb port and makes my mouse pointer pause every few seconds.

Other: This adapter is good when used strictly for usb 3.0 devices but there may be some incompatibility with the mouse i have.

Pros: Built-in PCI-Express USB 3.0 Reads MicroSD without adapter LED activity indicator

Cons: May not fit all chassis. LED power indicator may be annoying and works even if PC is down.

Other: Good device. Works out-of-box on my Debian GNU/Linux - as expected. How it works in Windows? What is Windows? :D
