Pros: Check battery voltage within secs. easy operation, any kids will able to use it. Though i have a multimeter, this is device is more handy as i have lots of batteries in my drawer.
Cons: No spring/ retractable cramps~ have to use hands to press the cramp to test the batt. have doubt on the accuracy. i measured a GP alkaline battery & its show me 1.64v, i then test with my multimeter & the reading was 1.59v. :( i test another used battery, the reading is off ard +0.04v.
Other: I have a mix of new & old batteries lying ard, so this device comes in handy for me~

Pros: -Checks 9v and 1.5v batteries. May also be used to check any other batteries, but I can't verify the accuracy. -Has an LCD screen that displays the volts. A brand new battery would show 1.52 for me, and a brand new 9 volt battery would show 9.2-3 volts. -Also tests miniature cells -Is solidly built, no engrish on packaging
Cons: -Is much lighter than you would expect -the contacts for 9V aren't dented, so it's a bit hard to test the battery.
Other: -Great for the price, solid build.

Pros: Appropriate size, quick read great price.
Cons: I agree with the other reviewers that it should have some sort of spring loading mechanism. It is a little annoying. The build quality seems a little lacking, but it does the job.
Other: For the price and convenience, this thing is great. I keep it in the "junk drawer" in our kitchen. Inevitably, my 7 year old mixes up the new batteries with dead ones and charged batteries and uncharged ones. This is much handier than the multimeter. Definitely worth the money.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very affordable, works many different types and shapes of batteries, compact, lightweight, and an lcd screen that gives you the actual voltage as opposed to a color indicating replace/low/good.
Cons: hard to gripe about much considering the price, it's a bit flimsy, and once the lcd screen does go out its trash
Other: If you're not looking to spend a lot of money and want something that will give you a more specific reading than most other testers in the range, I'd recommend this.

Pros: This is a small handy volt meter. works beautifully. you can use this product to check the volt of all small battery or cells you have. > AA / AAA / 14500 / 10440 / 16340 / 18650 well all these Nimh cells you use in your keyboard, mouse or/and Lithium batteries you use in your flashlights.. can be used on this one. If you are using 3-4 cells .. and only one of them died on you .. you just have to check with this.. and you will know which one need to be replaced. ITS DIGITAL .. so cool.
Cons: The Build Quality should have been better .. but not a real disadvantage.. it good enough if you dont let it fall too often.
Other: Just Buy it.. worth it.. if you have more than one battery lying around you. no need to guess now.. now you know what is the exact charge it should be.

Pros: Got it today and tested it with a few of my rechargable AA & AAA. Compare the result with my multimeter and suprisingly, the reading was quiet accurate!
Cons: Pricey... anyone with multimeter basically dont need this but this is easier to use as with multimeter, u need both hand to hold both terminal to ensure that it is contacted with the multimeter probe.
Other: For lazy peaople like me. Otherwise, use a multimeter instead. Even the cheapest multimeter is better.

Pros: If you don't want to use a multimeter, and have a quick look to your batteries level, this is perfect. It does it job quicly, it seems accurate.
It's a good friend for Eneloop and this kind of battery because you can quicly determine which ones you have to charge and wich ones you don't (as they don't discharge the;selves with time, with this you should never charge an item already fully charged)
Is also have a reminder on the back which indicate the voltage under you should consider charging the element you are testing. Good idea !
Cons: Only give you batteries' voltage, not intensity.
Other: Does it's job for people who don't want to use a multimeter. It is also more user-friendly for kids and people without any electricity skills.

Other: Its simple volt meter for cells and bateries. there is not much to say about this product. works like a charm. its digital which is what i prefer .. so it shows approximate volt that the battery has in it.

Pros: Very convenient device which needs to be had in the house.???????? in use. Is more white it is functional than with the analogue screen, it is possible to check not only batteries AA, ???, 9 V but also almost all existing batteries.
Cons: Quality of assemblage could be better. An overcharge.
Other: The good and useful device in an economy (it is not necessary to puzzle a good battery or bad and why the lantern, panel TV, hours does not work)
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Fast read. +/- Accuracy compared with a multimeter and a tiny resistance which is pretty okay imho. Small and easy to measure no switches to deal with. measure almost all kind of batteries Even RCR123A LiFe can be tested with it and same accuracy as much expensive other devices
Cons: none so far
Other: it is really cheap... why dont buy it? I probably buy another one
