3.5" to 2.5" HDD Converter

Pros: Very useful tool. I have this for years. It can be use to convert 2.5 HDD to 3.5 HDD. easy and plug and play. use it to tranfer files . test HDD, make it bootable under DOS on your desktop...etc. Many usefull function you can use. In addition, It costs very cheap.

Cons: None So far... but if it has a cover outside. It will look more perfect.

Other: I am very please with this product. I have 2 of them and want to get some extra. at this price, It can't be beat.

Pros: Simple design. Does what it's supposed to. Rigid glass-epoxy board. Offers a more "direct" and potentially speedier connection than an external USB enclosure.

Cons: For temporary use only--no hardware for permanent drive mounting inside a PC. You need to be VERY careful when inserting and removing this adapter from your drive; the fit is quite stiff and its very easy to bend pins and/or break the drive's logic board (which is THIN on a laptop drive).

Other: A nice accessory for techies who need to transfer data between laptop drives and a desktop PC (via an IDE/PATA cable).

Pros: Very simple adapter, but does its job quite well! Got many of them since here where I live its quite expensive! Works perfectly fine with my seagate 40GB notebook drive.

Cons: None.

Other: Get it! Thats a great bargain from DX!

Pros: - Compatible with 3.5 inch hard drive enclosures - Very small and takes no space - Easy to install - It just works

Cons: - Build quality is shoddy as the 4 pin power plug was literally bent inwards. I had to force and tape the plug into it.

Other: This thing will be useful if you need to get to a laptop hard drive's contents without having to go through the pain of buying an enclosure you don't need. Buy one. Its great value.

Pros: Allows you to easily set up laptop and notebook hard drives. Good construction. Very affordable!

Cons: Could use an enclosure, but at the price, I'm not complaining.

Other: Buy it! You can't lose with this adapter and it's low price.

Pros: Good for recovering data off of a laptop HDD, or for cloning a new one if you're replacing one in a working laptop. Can be used with a USB to IDE adaptor as well.

Cons: Only seen a slight issue with the power plug being bent in, but I had no problem with connecting.

Other: Save your time ordering a needless enclosure and just grab a few of these.

Pros: It does what it is supposed to do for an incredible price. Very simple to use.

Cons: Not really any negative point or it must be that you must be sure to connect the power by using a little bit more force the first time of use. After this is fits well with normal pressure when connecting.

Other: It's a great product for a great price.

Pros: It works.

Cons: It's possible to install it upside-down. There is no mounting hardware to adapt the drive to a 3.5" drive bay.

Other: Make sure the printed side of the board is up, and it will do everything you want.
