The 3.5mm stereo audio adapter with microphone is a great item. Via this adapter, you can use any other earphone in your iPhone to answer calls. It is also a good extension cable to use with the earphone which has short audio cable. This adapter is a great one, with microphone. Via it , you can listen music and answer phone call with a normal earphone.

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: I got this to use with my iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and it works with both very well. Callers say my voice sounds quite good and it's great being able to use my high-end headphones to make calls and receive calls while listening to music or videos.

    Cons: The button seems a little flakey and does not work as expected on every press. I had to fiddle with the button at first but it seems to work ok now. Cord length is good, but not enough if you keep your phone in your back pocket.

    Other: Great value, and the minor build quality issue does not bother me much. It works as expected.

    Pros: It is an inexpensive 75 centimeters extender to your favorite headphone. You do not need to change your music headphone to make calls. Well constructed, materials seems to be good.

    Cons: It would be better if it had volume control. And the clip position, in body of microphone, can make more hard to use. Microphone needs to be closer to head/mouth.

    Other: Headphone extender and you do not need to change your headphone to make a call.
