What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: - The micophone of this adapter is better than the original.
- You can attach many kinds of different earbuds without trouble anda the sound don´t get noises or something like this.
- It fits perfectly in my HT P3301. The original phone was with bad contact, causing noises and making the audio become mono instead of stereo. Its plug fits much much better at the phone in.
Cons: - The HTC radio signal is bad with this adapter. but, i just use the mp3 player, so it´s OK for me.
Other: - My only conplain is the FM radio. The signal gets lots of noises and often looses the signal because of the adapter.
- But for the MP3 player and for phone calls, its an good adapter!

Pros: It is cheap and DX was honestly the only store that would ship a HTC-3.5mm adapter to Sweden at the time of purchase. in short: + Cheap + Available
Cons: The 3.5 mm socket does not seem to be quite up top spec, the headphones have a tendency of slipping out more than with any other adapter or extension cord i have ever used. The volume setting is flaky at best. Sliding it just gives a very slight reduction in sound level until you reach the lowest end at which the sound sharply cuts of all together. The microphone does not seem to work at all the phone (HTC Magic) still use its internal Mic when I plug it in. Also even if the mic had worked 70 cm was a bit to short to reach from my pocket to my collar comfortably (and i am pretty short with 170 cm). - Sloppy fitting in the 3.5 mm plug, have to use the collarclamp to hold the headphone cord in place. - Lousy volume controll - The mic does not work at all for me, but then HTC Magic is not listed as a supported model. - 70 cm cord is to short for me - I think a straight connector would have been more comfortable than this bent one.
Other: It works OK for me since i really just wanted a 3.5 mm connector for my HTC magic so that I could use "real" head phones but the build quality is so-so and the mic does not work for me.

Pros: Very cheap, very useful, it does what it says. Volume slider works perfectly to me, I read that someone had some problems with non-linearity, but mine works as expected. Mic in it is just as good, no problems at all
Cons: none so far
Other: I use it for 3.5mm headphones, and it just works great. Without it I would be stuck with crappy headphones that come with device (Tytn II - Kaiser ). This way, I can attach any standard headset and still use them as a "hands free" since there is a microphone on this adapter. And it is so cheap that it is great
