Pros: The adapter cable is great. fits my iphone, even in it's somewhat restrictive hard shell case. I can now use my excellent older headphones with my new iPhone. The cable is small and flexible enough that it almost seems like part of my headphone cable. I can keep my phone in my pocket, and the plug doesn't stick out so far that I am worried about breaking it.

Other: If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch, and your favorite headphones or earphone plug doesn't fit in the little hole, get one of these.

Pros: Nice firm fit into the iPhone. No bad connections. Priced right.

Other: This is a necessary adaptor if you want to use standard 3.5mm headphone for 1st generation iphone. Eventhough the iphone already has 3.5mm jack, it is recessed into the phone and thus any 3.5mm plug that is too fat (90% of them) will not fit into iPhone. Not sure what apple designer were thinking, probably a way for them to force people to buy genuine Apple headphones (which have crappy sound quality). NOTE The new 3G iPhone will not need this adaptor, as the jack is no longer recessed.

Pros: I bought 3 of these, only 2/3 works so 1 defective. But i cannot complain as the price is amazing as always from DX... Shipping came in 2 weeks as always, couldn't be more happier. Packing of this was very simple and clean

- Allows you to use your good earphones instead of the standard Apple crap

Other: If you can't live with Apple's earphones, this is the solution for you. Another practical accessory from DX.

the package was sent 1 day after orderd it,and got here after 7 days!!!

Pros: - Plug has a perfect fit for iPhone 1st Gen;
- It seems durable;
- Good sound; no distortion detected;
- Package is well sealed.

Cons: - Not so cheap (DX standards) for a small piece of cable.

Other: - This is a mandatory adapter if you want to use your non-apple earphone/headphone set with the Apple iPhone.
- Also good to use with car audio player (auxiliary in). However, you should have an extension cable such as Sku 5115.
-Worth buying it!

Pros: Very convenient to take care of Apple's unnecessary obstacle that avoids use of standard headphones with iPhones. Fits well and provides good sound quality.

Cons: Wish it was built better - the cable is broken in just couple of weeks use due to being bent at the connector - all reasonable precautions were taken but the cable is too rigid and broke easily. I wish this was a one piece adapter instead so it won't break that easily.

Other: Reasonably good - you get what you pay for.
