3*Cree Reflector - Orange Peel Aluminium (18mm x 50mm)

Pros: Excellent mechanical and optical qualities. Flawless coating. Solid (35g). Easy to mount by M6 bolt. Smooth, narrow beam with some useful spill.

Cons: None

Other: While this isn't a cheap item, the price is right for such a quality part that leaves nothing to desire.

Pros: Gives good combination of flood/throw when used with 3x R2 LEDs. Size fits common 3D mag head with a little bit of sanding down.

Cons: Slightly large for Mag Mod without minor modification. Reflective surface is easy to scratch/fog/wear away.

Other: This reflector is a convenient size to use for a Mag modification. Using this reflector with 3x R2 LEDs (slighly under-driven due to heatsinking concerns), three single-mode drivers, and a glass lens, all from here on DX, I was able to turn my common 3D maglite into an extremely bright light! With a substantial amount of spill, it lights up a large area while still having enough throw to light up 100 yards away easily.
