3-in-1 Educational DIY Solar Robot Toy Assembly Kit

Pros: It's frikkin' cheap!
It's solar (no batteries!)
The pieces do assemble very well
There are no burrs in the pieces
Nice sensitive solar panel
Manual is very good, 100% drawn, no chinglish

Cons: The gearbox assembly did not work first try. I had to remove a protruding part of one of the gears (the one that's driven directly by the motor). After doing this, it worked just fine.

Other: A good buy. Thinking of getting another solar DIY toy for the kids (and ME!).

Pros: Build quality is very decent. Material is not a cheap plastic, is strong enough to hold after assembling and disassembling several times. Pieces assemble VERY well.
The whole model has many excellent design features. If you like puzzles, you will be surprised at how many well-thought details are in this toy.
The robot-puzzle itself is a great toy. And the solar engine is an excellent addition, your child will love it. You get a lot of value for a small price.

Cons: The cables and soldering of solar panel and motor can be broken easily. Once assembled this is kept in the inside and not exposed to damage, anyway.
Some parts are hard to assemble, specially in the first time. You will have to help your child!
In our model, some part of the engine or wheels is pressed to hard when closing the chest of the robot, so it does not work. I had to file through the mounting of some axes to allow wheels to work correctly.

Other: Great to spent time with your child, if you like puzzles, pieces, mechanics. Excellent cost/value ratio.

Pros: The prive is very low for this kind of toy. In Brazil a similar one costs three times. Easy to assemble and work well. Assembling it already was fun. To see it works was great.

Cons: The material could be a little better. The instructions are very limited.

Other: The fragility of the toy may worry you, but after you finish to mount it this feeling disapear.

Pros: - Very, very cheap; - Works perfectly! It's really walks in the sunny day; - Have Educational components of similar a small Lego pieces assemblies; - Wires of motor and solar cell assembled only the first time, in the first model. - No problems for assemble completely the first model.

Cons: - In manual assembly steps, it is possible to confuse the screws with the plastic pins. But definitely nothing that harms the toy.

Other: For my son - seven years old - was very hard to assemble any pieces, but possible with my support.

Pros: A good toy for the development of technical thinking and skills of the child. Good visual instructions for assembly. It is worth 3 times cheaper than in local stores. Walk on a sunny day.

Cons: Weak solar battery. Not strong packing, it's damaged. Loose labels on the details.

Other: Designer good for the baby. Enables the development of technical thinking, introduces the basics of mechanics. The child will be busy few days. Good price \ quality.

Pros: Very pretty kit. Usefull to show how the Solar energy works. It's a good price, very good. As a kit, simple to build, only 4 screws, no glue needed. It's a good 'transformer'

Cons: Well, the stickers so pretty but it's a little bit complicated to paste when it's built. It needs sand paper for all the pieces but not so much.

Other: Very good and so happy to build it!! Maybe I'm so older but I feel like a child when I assambled
