Pros: + High power leds. They can be seen from a long distance
+ Very easy to mount (a little adjust to the rubber band included is needed)
+ Mine has four modes instead the 2-mode announced: blinking all three leds, two strobe modes and continuous lighting
+ Two O-rings to protect from raining
+ Compact size
+ Reliable rubber switch on top
+ Light weight
+ Long runtime for the batteries (alkaline or rechargeable NiMH)
+ It can be easily off from the bike when not in use and its small size is perfect to keep in a pocket or a waist bag

Cons: Nothing I can think about now.
Perhaps someone can think a 2xAA power option would be better (sure would last longer) but the compact size would not be the same.

Other: If you need a safety light for your bike this is a very good option and for the price I would buy one more as spare.

Pros: Easy to install, easy to use. LEDs are bright and easy to be seen from afar. Low price; there's no reason to not be seen!
Use it in strobe mode to extend the basttery life and be more noticeable.

Cons: None that I can tell. I don't know what the battery life will be; this would be the only issue.

Other: For this kind of money, you can't afford to NOT have one! This is a safety issue- get one!

Pros: Leds are very bright and can be seen from a long distance; there are also two leds bonded (the first and the last) that give a full 180° visibility.
It has 5 modes: one blinking, two waving, one steady on an then, of course, off.
Build quality is much better than the ones sold in Italy for at least 2x the price.
The mount is very solid.

Cons: I noticed that not all the rechargeables battery fit, so I can't use some which are slightly longer than standard (not a very big problem, however). This is why I gave 4 stars in build quality: 1 mm more in lenght and it would be perfect.

Other: Buy it, you can't go wrong.

Pros: Very bright, everyone can see you in the dark;
lateral leds are sure a pro;
waterproof, nice if it rains;
4 modes light;
easy to clip-out and carry, it's not so big;
extremely cheap, in stores a light like this it's about 5/6 euro (7dollars) or more;
easy to fit and to use;
adjustable inclination;
package is ok.

Cons: Absolutely none! Cheap, good build, does exactly the job and does it well. Only 2 AAA batteries and it works for a long time, better if they are rechargeable.

Other: For this price i didn't expected a light like this, even the tail clip is well build and there is not risk to loose the light if you run too fast or in out-road.

Pros: Very useful and uses only two AA batteries. Easy to put on and has 3 modes. BLINK, STROBE OUT, STROBE IN. With only one button to press to make three different modes. Very useful and safe and visible.

Cons: I give one off build quality because as the picture, it is vertical. I think it would save a lot more room if it was horizontal like any common sense person would make it. Because mine is SLIGHTLY off to the side but still visible on the back because I left my other reflecter on the back still. But if it was horozontal i could put both straight and not a bit to the side but it's all good. I think the button should be on the bottom as well because mine is really tight with the above seat and a hard bump could turn it off.

Other: Very good and useful except for the odd vertical. But other than that I would get it as it's one of the best on DX and very cheap and safe and useufl.

Pros: - The way this light is designed, it it COMPLETELY waterproof. The only opening is the place that you can open to put in batteries, but it has a very good soft silicon washer, the type that seals very well because it is soft and when compressed slightly it has no micro-gaps that let water seep in. I am very confident that you can use this even in very heavy rain without any worries. Heck, this thing can probably work underwater! To me, this superb waterproofing is the biggest plus that puts it above all other taillights. It is not only waterproof, it is air-tight as well!!!
- Other than the 3 main leds, there are also 1 leds at each end (total 5 led), that point DIRECTLY at the sides. This is also something that is rare, because most tail lights point at 45 degrees, and directly from the side it is not visible. This is very useful because if you ride in a city area and stops at a traffic light beside a car. The horizontal shining will remind the driver that you are there and not to turn into you (if you are going straight and he is turning).
- The third pro is that the attachment can be mounted at 90 degrees. I believe this is so that if you want, you can mount this on your handlebars in front, and still be able to have the light in a horizontal profile. I don't think this light should be mounted in a vertical profile, because then the side leds will be shining top and bottom.
- The 4th pro is that this light has a very good throw, you can actually detach this and use it as a torchlight in dark areas.
- The last pro is that when you have to leave the bike and detach this light to put in your pocket, it has no corners and is very comfortable and not as bulky as other AAA lights. Also, the mounting bracket is very solid and made of a hard plastic which makes it easy and smooth for the light to mount or dismount(when you press the release button). Without pressing the button, it is impossible to pull the light out, which is how secure it is when mounted. I really like the mounting.
- The last pro, in my case, is that this light cannot be found locally, so it is very special!

Cons: Absolutely no cons that I can think of. Really!

Other: I really wonder why this light is not sold locally. Maybe because if the shops sell this light then they will not be able to sell their more expensive models that are not so well designed as this?
Get it before it goes out of stock! I would order another one as spare but then this light feels like it will work for a very very very long time...

Pros: : + design results in a simple, round o-ring + positively waterproof

Cons: : - springs for both plus and minus contacts - has LED patterns which are of limited use - lacks potentially useful LED patterns (1, 2, 3 or 4 LEDS, in addition to the existing 5 LEDs permanently on)

Other: Once in operation, the device works well. The design is such that it is simple to keep water out, contrary to the more common kidney shaped lights, which often reach end of lifetime by the sticking (and damaged, in the process of opening the device) or rotting complex-shaped seal. This device has a simple cylindrical shape, with a lid and a perfectly circular seal between. Should the seal rot, it should be easy to find a replacement.

Pros: A very good accessory for the bicycle. This is the second unit I am buying from Deal Extreme. I had purchased one earlier for my use, and since it was very good and useful, I have purchased this second unit for my kid's bike. Even though the product description says 3 LED, the light has got 5 LEDs. The blinking functionality really helps to catch the attention of big vehicle drivers during night time riding. The first one I purchased has been in use for the last two months and is working fine without any problems.

Cons: It would have been better if the lights worked with AA batteries rather than AAA batteries. The cost of rechargeable AA batteries are almost a quarter of rechargeable AAA batteries, here in India. Since I do a reasonable quantity of night time riding, this would have helped.

Other: A very useful accessory for any bike. I would certainly recommend this product to any cyclist.

-needs to standard AAA batteries
-4 modes: blink, strobe in, strobe out, on
-very good switch! i experienced tail-lights where it was ridiculous to try to press the switch wearing gloves
-completely watertight (threw it into my aquarium, no problem at all.. :D)

Cons: -design of the battery holder! i had to use a screwdriver to really force the batteries in. it's about 1,5mm (0,06") to short for a standard AA battery, thus 4 stars for build quality
-not really a con, but rather something that could have been done better: the mode switch may be a bit annoying. i use the blink mode, it's the first mode and to turn it off i have to cycle through the other modes till i reach off mode.
could have been done like with the flashlights of dx, repeatedly pressing the button switches modes, if there is a break of about 10 seconds between the presses it switches directly to off.

Other: -i really do recommend this light, allthough the battery holder is a bit crappy. once the batteries are in it's very good.
