3-LED White Light Solar Powered Self-Recharge Flashlight Keychain (Color Assorted)

Pros: When i bought this thing it was such a wonderful thing. And it still is. It's light is so bright. I cant even believe how bright it is. And it is still so bright, because it is SOLAR POWERED WHOO Soo it can last a long time, and i dont have to buy batteries.

Cons: The Key Ring Ripped Off, and you have to press and hold the button to keep the light on. It leaves Finger Prints Nothing Else....

Other: GET IT !! OMG its worth it just get it lol dont just stand here and read this revview if you are looking for a cheap flashlight then you should just order this right now AND ITS RECHARGEABLE WTHH !! Get it

Pros: It really is rechargeable. Verified by other users and me. I'll post pictures later.
The battery is LIR2032.
The switch is not the cheap click buttons, but 4 times more expensive smd buttons, similar to those in computer mouses.
It has diode to prevent battery discharge on solar element. I'm not sure this is a pro because I removed diode and measured no current leaking - not a single micro amp...
There is no charge circuit. Yes this is a pro because the other solar chargers for up to $20 have stupid charge circuit which drains power from the battery when there is lower light (clouds or indoors). If you leave it on low light for a few days you can loose half of the charge. stupid.

Cons: Leds get >4V on full charge and they get a bit hot (not much). They drain 68 mA from the 40 mAh battery which means about 30-40 minutes light time. Also 68 mA makes the battery hot which is not good for the battery life. The light will be lower when battery is not fully charged. But that's not quite a con... To maintain constant current an regulator must be used which will drain power too. Linear regulator (price +$0.10-0.20 will give you more constant current but may rise the current to about with 20-30 mA and different diodes must be used. Switching regulator will add abou $1 to $2 to the price and it'll drain current about 5-10 mA. So I think the way it is is good compromise between price/battery life/quality.
The diode is wasting up to 20% of the solar power on lower light. If the light is stronger the voltage from the solar element will be higher, the drop on the diode will be the same so the most of the solar power will go to the battery and waste will be note more than 5%.

Other: Buy it! I bought 3 and they all came in good condition - all working. If you use it for something else be careful - the solar element have very sensitive pads. if you solder a wire try not to desolder the solar element - it's really hard to solder it. The surface is not metal.

Pros: - Just the right size to a keychain - Plastic does not feel cheap - High Quality metal keychain - Rechargeable - Strong light - High Quality SMD switch - Bright LED's - Really useful to find small items inside the car or to find the keyhole in your door

Cons: Of the first 5 I've ordered, one came with the battery unsoldered (opened it and quickly resolved the problem) and the other came with the solar cell cracked, but still recharging.

Other: Could not be better. I'm ordering more.

Pros: I got the flashlight right on the time. This thing is tiny and sexy desiged. It feels very comfortable in my hand and has a very bright warn light. It is very useful, I have it with me all my time and it is my favorite keychain.

Cons: The operating button is located at the back of the device and it is a little bit not comfortable.

Other: This thing is really useful everywhere i go becuase i go especially at night. I think i'll order more of it :)

Pros: Great little torch/flashlight that gives out a very surprising amount of light. The small size makes it very easy to keep on hand in case of emergency, and I keep it charged inside on a window sill. It seems to keep being lit up - so far it hasn't gone flat at all, but that might be due to me putting in on a windowsill each morning, after using it in the night.

Cons: None to think of so far. The solar panel seems fine - I have kept this in my pocket and the panel hasn't scratched or been damaged even when it came into (unintentional) contact with my keys.

Other: Really good little flashlight with quite a bit of 'grunt'.

Pros: -Small solar torch but give out bright amount of light -3 LED light brighter than the others solar torches -Colored casing, i wanted blue but i got red instead -Rechargable battery using solar energy -Small and convenient to carry around -Good to use in case of any emergency

Cons: -Have to hold on to a button for it to work -Colors assorted, cant choose the color that i want

Other: A great solar product to have, especially for going camping or outdoors at night, no batteries needed so no worries about batteries running out

Pros: This is a good solar powered 3-led light. I have a surprise when I power on the first time in the dark, it gives out a lot of light. It's not a very big 3-led solar powered light.

Cons: The external chase seems a little bad quality plastic, but it's enought for my personal estimaded use. It's usefull if you let it in a sunny place for battery charging. Once discharged, you can't charge it without solar energy.

Other: I have not tried what's the baterry autonomy, but if it holds 5 minutes I thinks it's enought.

Pros: Doesn't need batteries. Uses solar power. When fully charged can work 2-3 hours before gets discharged. Requires 1-2 days to get fully charged again. Very easy to use.

Cons: The light is not that bright. Angle of light is pretty narrow. My phone Galaxy S2 has a flashlight which is about 5 times brighter and wider. Also it doesn't have a switch, you will have to push the button all the time. Once you release it, it doesn't light. In my opinion the light has cold color (blue) which is not comfortable for eyes. But still this is better than nothing.

Other: For this price the device is good enough. It can be used to find for example keys in a car or in a tent. But don't expect too much from it. Consider it as a toy.

Pros: Light is bright and very handy to use as keychain for when you go out at night and it's dark and you need light. It's solar powered so no need to charge with electricity, just expose it to sunlight.

Cons: Chain is weak. It broke after only a few days of using. But maybe that's because I had heavy keys attached to it. But still, I wish it were more sturdy.

Other: If you want a portable light, there are better and smaller items out there.

Pros: Light is very bright and have a real solar cell that charge battery, not like other imitations you can by in stores. If you put it on the desk where is always bright you don't need to worry about charging it.

Cons: Chain is a little bit weak. Nothing else than I can think of.

Other: In my humble opinion you will not be disappointed , buy it without worries :) Price is ok and its worth it for this kind of gadget and remember that you do not need to buy batteries any more.
