    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: very very compact design. very important think that must be known about it: you can use it with many conventional type cases sold in market. It has a little ledge at just under the lightning connector. this ledge allows you can use with cases. I had one another adapter without this little ledge, I can't use with case.

    Cons: It doesn't work with my JBL docking station. It allows to transfer data - sync and charge but it won't transfer sound with my dock. I had one atother adapter, it works properly with my docking station.

    Other: It is cheaper than many others. it work properly for charce or sync, but it doesn't work for audio...

  • Works for power but not sound

    Pros: Works if you just need it for power or data.

    Cons: Bought this hoping this would work with an iphone car fm tuner which I also bought with deal extreme but it doesn't seem to transfer audio. Won't work with my logitech sound dock either.

    Other: Just buy the lightning cable instead of this adapter. It's only a few cents more and less bulky.
