300KP Wired Network Surveillance IP Camera w/ 10-LED Night Vision - Black

Pros: Well... I bought it in the "Black Friday" offer, when it was US$25.00.
By that price, it was 5 stars in the "price" evaluation.
By this price (US$46), it's 4 stars.

Cons: It was a little hard for me (very familiarized with IT) to make the camera work. Maybe because I was trying to use it without the CD (duh!).
It is STRICTLY necessary to use the little app that comes with the tiny CD.
One bad thing is that, for Mac users like me, the tiny CD doesn't fit into the drive. So, I had to use another PC to get the Cd content.
But... the good news is that the CD comes with a .app application for Mac users :)
And... a con is the current price. It's a bit over prices. Anything between 30 and 40 would be fine, as this Cam doesn't have wireless.

Other: For 25 bucks, buy it NOW.
But for 46 bucks... well... I don't know. Maybe you should spend a little extra and get the wireless one.
The video quality and the ease of use (to rotate de camera and use the application) are really good. And the infrared leds do the job very well for small distances.
Also, the camera comes with a "mobile" version of the view application, where I could see the camera and rotate it through my iPad.
I don't regret the purchase :)

Pros: Easy to use, plugged in, put the address in the browser (written in lower case) and watch the picture.
good quality images even in night mode. automatic night mode.

Cons: Weak mechanism ptz. but if you do not touch it and not to stress it will work.

Other: for 25 bucks an excellent choice. for the full cost is better to buy a more advanced model.

Pros: I was surprised by the image quality and frame refresh rate. They are quite good (the fps is even very good, for $23!!) On a Mac, you don't need the CD. Actually, the app doesn't work on Lion, and I didn't bother investigating further, since all I needed was Safari or Firefox (it works with both)

Cons: At first it was confusing, trying to use the software provided (it didn't work for me). Build quality isn't very good, but that was expected at this price...

Other: It's cheap, and it works great!! :D

Pros: Comes with a free dynamic dns account. The ir leds and nightmode are really powerful. The pan tilt function is really quiet. Can be reflashed with foscam software.

Cons: No IR filter, some colors get really distorted with sunlight.

Other: A good camera for the price (purchased when it was on deal at about $23)

Pros: Works great. It has internal web server to connect it for PC without drivers. It comes with drivers and a GUI tool to control it from PC without web control. I also control it with a free android application.

Cons: The driver's manual come in Chinese, but I still managed to install it. The web server uses ActiveX to control the camera so in order to get a full feature camera you have to use Internet Explorer (Firefox/Chrome will also work but not all the features will be available). The format a video is saved doesn't play in most video players I used, but I've manage to find some that will play it.

Other: Good deal (I've bought it on a Black Friday sale :))

Pros: It's work out of the box, the resolutions is very good and the movement of the people on scene is fluid working in a home network. You can also configure the camera to be seen from outside (internet) so you can view and control the camera using the cellphone for instance. Of course you don't get a fluid image this way due bandwidth restrictions. The original firmware is very complete, it also have a DDNS function, so you don't have to worry about dinamic IP issues. The camera control work very well and very quiet too. The Automatic IR function work fine, so you can get the night vision feature this way.

Cons: The IR leds have a red glow when they are ON. Very strange since IR are usually not visible to human eyes. Probably the wavelenght is too close to Red. This is a con if you don't want to reveal the camera position on night. There is a Green Led also, that is allways ON when the camera is active. So again, the camera catch the attention of the people on night. Another Con, but a fixeable one, is fact that by default the camera comes with an user and pass for a DDNS server, so if you don't take the apropiate careful, you can be exposing your camera to others whitout knowing (user with basic knoledge about IT)

Other: Very good camera for $25 (when was at this price) i will buy it again for that price, but i will not buy it for more, because you can get wireless cameras for a little over
