Pros: This is probably the best thing i have ever bought. drove from england to the south of France. this product allowed me to run my laptop for the whole way. movies, games, work, music, whatever you want. the best deal else where i could find was £25 for a 300w transformer. this one was £15. it didnt get hot the whole way. The device will beep if it is overloaded and won't burn out etc. has 1 led showing it has power and another to show it is supplying power. When plugged in but not supplying power the fan is off and therefore the device is silent. the fan only turns on if a current is drawn from it.
Cons: only 3 problems with it. it wouldn't charge things from the usb port. my iPod screen turned on and it realized soomething was going on but it didn't charge. (this could be because i had my laptop plugged in as well. not sure though)
it is a little loud when the car is stationary because of the lack of surrounding noise, but when on a freeway/motorway it is hardly noticeable.
Once when waking it up at -5 Celsius it didn't want to work for the first couple of seconds, but after turning it on and off a couple of times it worked.
Other: Everyone needs one at some point. Buy one.

Pros: This inverter is a compact item full of grunt. It powers all my appliances in my bedroom. I have a solar trickle charger with a built in controller on my house roof running to a deep gel battery, this then, connects to the 300watt inverter. It runs my TV, alarm clock and other bits and pieces.
You could use this thing anywhere. It is one of the most handiest gadgets I have ever brought.
Cons: No Cons
Other: This is a sturdy, very well built and packaged unit. It has a USB port for Laptop use, International power inputs. Runs from your car lighter socket, can be powered from a battery. Buy this inverter. You will use it and wont regret it.

Pros: This invertor is very small so he can be placed somewhere in the car where he doesn't annoy me, like under the seats. The invertor is equiped with one mains plug wich looks a little strange. It's a sort of universal plug: different kinds of power plugs fit into it. I tested it with Belgian and Dutch plugs and those fit well. Ofcourse there is no earth connection (internally the earth connection of the socket isn't connected), but that is not necessary. The USB plug is quite handy: I can charge my phone (HTC) perfectly with it. No need to use the original adapter.
Cons: I checked the inside of the device and my electronic knowledge tells me this device is never going to give 300 watts of power. Perhaps 300 watts of smoke... It's a great device to charge your laptop or other small appliances that use less than 200 watt.
Other: I wouldn't doubt buying this. The price is perfect for what it is!

Pros: 300W is enough to tun the laptop and charge it up. We have used it in the campervan for almost a year, and it works well. It has been used on the laptop, battery charger, phone charger and all have worked ok.
Has a USB output for MP3 players, etc jack which i haven't used.
Cons: Fan is a bit noisy if the vehicle is not moving or there is not much background noise. It has a high pitch to it which is noticeable, especially under load.
300W will run most small electronics, but it is not enough for tools.
Other: Good value and would recommend it

Pros: This is a very useful equipament, to be used during car travels when you cannot charge batteries at hotels. Capable of supply small gadgets and some more powerfull ones. Very good construction (metal). Used to supply AA and AAA batteries charges and several other cameras chargers with no difficulties.
Cons: Nothing important, except the plastic borns that could be damaged dependig on the device stay at the car.
Other: Very good inverter at a good price. To buy with no worries. 300W is enough for almost all gadget applications.

Pros: -- Very cheap compared to other places/stores; Extremely useful thing while you're camping or so; Includes a clamp-on leads and a cigarette-lighter plug, though I recommend using clamps, because they can provide more current from the battery; Has a +5V power supply in the form of USB connector; Universal mains socket: UK, Euro and US plugs fits perfectly; Has a temperature controlled fan, so it gets loud only while on high-load; Has very good working overload protection, as well it has protection from totally flattening your battery. Very nice looking and compact case, which also happens to be well shaped for cooling. Two screws for power leads are very good solution for connecting custom-made leads.
Cons: -- Could have some higher surge power rating (at least 2.5 times of nominal power). Because while powering my 100W 21" CRT TV the overload protection triggered 5 times since capacitors on my TV charged, after on the TV worked for about 5 hours without any problems. The build quality is quite poor, mostly soldering job. The case is firm and OK. Power leads could be a little bit longer.
Other: Very cheap and nice power inverter. Although build quality is not very good, that doesn't prevent the item from providing its functionality. I'm using mine for almost a year and it is still working. It has all the necessary protections, including battery discharge prevention, which doesn't allow to discharge the battery below 10.8V. Totally recommend this item.

Pros: Incredible price ! For the same product, where I live, I have to pay about 4 - 5 x the DX price. Solid (alu. box), compact and pleasant design. Offers two 12 V. connecting possibilities.
Cons: Not found yet.
Other: I bought this inverter because I have a mobile cooling fridge which has 2 power entries (12 V. & 220 V. / 45 Watts). With the 12 V., I do not know why, it makes over-heating my car cigarette-lighter (it was almost melting !). Now, with my inverter connected to my car cigarette-lighter and providing 220 V. to my fridge, all keeps quiet and the cigarette-lighter stays with normal temperature.

Pros: Functionally it works properly. I connected my laptop in the car for very long without troubles. The cables are good quality
Cons: The blower is too noisy and it is connected permanently, that is not confortable condition inside the car. Despite it works ok, after the first week leds didin t light no longer.
Other: it is worth value.
