30cm Breadboard Wires for Electronic DIY (40-Cable Pack)

Pros: 40 female to female connectors. Those are very useful, specialy for prototyping on a breadboard, development boards or intercircuits connections. They all came together as an IDE ribbon cable, which can be useful as well. 10 (x4) diferent colors helps to identify connections or test points.

Cons: Connectors are not soldered, but crimped. Thats usual for this kind of termination. Checked a couple and seems ok. Wrote as a con if you're looking for perfection at 5 bucks.

Other: Nice to have when prototyping. Forget about doing your own jumpers, one by one.

Pros: I was surprised to see that it is good quality, 30cm cable is perfect size for breadboard , it easy to separate ( because it come together in one cable ) colors are usefull when "project" is bigger. For that price you can forget to wasting Time on making similar cables.

Cons: I think that this product dont have any

Other: When you use it you will be addicted and you can't even think to make your own cable :D
Good product, good price, worth of buing. Helpfull in all DIY project's or with breadboard's . Don't waste your time and buy one !!!

Pros: 40 cables enough for most DYI/Arduino stuff
10 colors is better than most kits
Build quality and materials look fine
Stable connection - not flimsy on most accessories I tested
Hard to find item in my country

Cons: A bit harder to separate than I expected
Price is a bit high, but since hard to find here I had no choice:)
Choice of 2 or 3 more lengths would be great

Other: Recommended for DYI/Arduino fans. However, I just received this item - I will try to post another review after a few months of use.

Pros: I simply cannot find there already mounted/soldered cable nearby!! if i want, i have to take ide/scsi ribbon and try to find the plug to sold etc....
This is simply making me win money, time (most) and are so easy to use.
I already have used them to "update" the wiring of my diving computer companion, this was already "DIY"ed because it was old. But the first "correction" were also have tighting problem.
I have taken the cable and replaced all connexion (9v battery, intenal wiring, connection to my diving computer thanks to the furnished pin (lucky i am, correct size)). Now it's working marvelously :-).
I also used sku.80208 which is the companion of this set.
I also have used them to make motherboard connection longer without cutting soldering wires.
I was searching this kind of pre cabled wires for years !!!
My futur usage: LED DIY wiring, but this can be a cons to see

Cons: Did not find one yet.

Other: Magic wires, premounted, pre solderes, what a gain of time !

Pros: + it's relatively cheap
+ there are quite many wires in the package
+ it's universal

Cons: - they're coming in one big ribbon, you have to separate them by yourself
- too resilient, trying to keep their shape, that's not comfortable in small projects
- the connectors are strange, their housing moves

Other: Don't start with Arduino, you'll become addicted :)

Pros: They are pretty cheap and they are a lot!

Cons: The package comes as a "strip", just like the dealextreme images. This means you will need to make them all loose by hand. This is not so difficult, but it will result in curly cables. The connectors are crimped and might get loose easily, but not yet looked into that. They feel pretty fragile and might get damaged easily. All are fine at arrival though.

Other: Pretty good for hobby stuff. And when they break you buy new ones. Don't expect sparkfun quality cables though.

Pros: If you do DIY electronics it is a must have.
There are plenty and colorfull
Length is ok for my applications

Cons: the cable cover is a bit fragile
Price could be cheaper.
Cable are very thin so do not use for amps hungry applications

Cons: - Maybe wires could be a bit longer

Other: If you are into DIY electronics, you must buy this item. Trust me, it will save you a lot of time and troubles! I never start prototyping anything without getting these breadboard wires.

Pros: the wires are glued together at arrival which is awesome, cause then you can take the bundle apart in pairs or groups of wires which can be helpful when connecting many wires to the same external component. Comes with many different colors

Cons: None really, a great product. Could be a bit cheaper given that it is actually only some wires, but i would buy them anytime

Other: Great product that saves you a lot of time when prototyping stuff with the arduino or similar. Works great in combination with SKU 80208

Pros: excellent choice to connect something to the smt32f4discovery or other arm/arduino boards. Almost all boards in dx has a male conector, so is a good choice to connect it to your microcontroller projects.

Cons: good lenght, good material and all the wires are sticked one to the other, so if you only need use 5 is more easy cut 5 wires and use it. The price is high when you can see than there are other wires male to male for less price than female to female Only has 40 wires, for this price is better have around 60 or 70 wires
