30X 21mm + 60X 12mm Jewelers Loupes/Magnifiers with LED Light & UV Money Detector (3*LR1130)

Pros: Exellent product: the UV light is just very good and almost like UV lights you can see in clubs. The lenses seem to be glass, and are OK for the price, even very good. The construction feels heavy and not cheap or plastic box. The overall design is well done, the switch is sturdy and protected once retracted.

Cons: There are no cons, except maybe to access the batteries; and the strap may not be the best quality.

Other: Bottomline is not that useful for this item ... all's said

Pros: - UV light works, shows up the hidden second photo on my drivers liscence that I hadn't know was there until I had a look at it with this. I was slightly concerned as the 'uv' wavelength from LEDs is only just in the uv range - but everything I have been expecting to flouresce has been lighting up as expected.
- White light works, but who really cares.
- the 30X magnifying glass is nice (the 60x is a bit more difficult to use and doesn't necessarily line up with the lights - but get one of the other mini microscopes if that is an issue for you).
- has a nice, solid feel to it, though don't be expecting gold plating for $3.80.
- The retracting lens is a good idea to protect it, and makes the package quite small and pocketable. Also lights only turn on when lens is fully extended - so saves batteries.

Cons: - the only thing stopping the lens sliding out is friction, there is no catch or clip or anything. Though if there was, it would probably be just another thing to break...
- no other cons - it is solid (plastic yeah, obviosuly cheap, but not poor quality).

Other: I bought this for a Vetrinarian to use at work for checking for ring worms on animals (the ring worms flouresces under uv light). The uv lights they have previously used were the proper dark tube type, and very expensive (i.e. $100+) ones that always seem to have a issues with flat batteries. So I thought one of these would be worth a try. And it (the uv light) works! You should have seen the expression on my friends face when I gave it to her as she did the mental calculations on how much cheaper, and more useful this thing will be than the old alternative. Worth every penny. I just need to get an engraver to make sure no-one else nicks it!

Pros: Compact. The case is actually quite tough and you should be able to carry it in your pocket without damaging it.
Supplied with batteries.
You need to fully extend the lens assembly to turn the light on.

Cons: The UV / LED switch is very small and stiff to use. The 60x magnifcation lens is a bit too small to be really useful, however it is still useable. The UV / LED will only light if the lens is fully extracted, however this assembly is quite flimsy and you need to hold it in place with your thumb.

Other: As a small cheap maginfier with light, this unit works very well. For the odd looking at coins or stamps etc this is ideal.

Pros: It is a great value for the money. It have 2 magnifying lenses with X60 and X30 magnification. It have one white light and one ultraviolet light, great to detect a false money. It is great for amateur and semi-professional use. It is compact and quality is good. you can brag in front of friends :-).

Cons: X60 lens is little bit small.

Other: Not a everyday item, but can be very useful in some situations. Buy it!

Pros: Very easy to use. Just full open it and the light will turn on. The size is small and is easy to carry it with you wherever you go. The strap helps to avoid losing it. The magnifying lens are ok. No scratches found. The price is quite fair. It is a good deal.

Cons: The UV light is obviously not so bright, so you have to use the gadget in a darkened room or at night or else you will have to bring the gadget very close to the banknote.

Other: It is a "must have", especially if you deal with money all day and want to make sure you are not being cheated.

Pros: efectivo, lupas con bastante aumento, pequeño, util, luz blanca y UV tienen bastante potencia listo para usar ya que viene con las baterias ya incorporadas

Cons: el envoltorio venia en malas condiciones. la pupa con mas aumento es algo pequeña y para que se vea bien hay que acercar bastante

Other: Lo recomiendo para todo aquel que trabaje con documentos y billetes y quiere saber con certeza si son falsos o verdaderos

Pros: Very easy to use. The light will turn on automaticly when you open it.. It is small and is easy to carry. The strap helps to avoid losing it. The magnifying lenses are small but good. The price is very reasonable. It is a top deal.

Cons: Not much. The battries are a little bit tricky to replace and you have to be very close to see anything, but that is all

Other: A good (double) magnifier for a very good price. Recomendable!
