Pros: This item works well to hold umbrellas and portable flash units on stands. I like the way that it tilts to fine tune the flash direction. It's built solidly. The black parts are made out of good quality hard plastic.
Cons: Althought instructions are not included - it was easy to figure out how to use it properly. It's smaller than I thought it would be.
Other: Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great quality and light weight, simple and flexible to work with. Does what it suppose to!
Cons: None for the price. Actual product does not have label as pictured.
Other: Overall a great product when you need to put a flash and/or umbrella on a stand. Shipping can be faster though.

Pros: Almost essential tool for studio photography.
Without this holder it is very hard to place umbrella and flash in photo scene. I bought it together with two types of umbrellas from www.DealeXtreme.com. Quality of production is not bad. To use this product some big enough tripod is needed.
Cons: Could be more robust. But works fine. Plastic mounting place for flash could be better. I think it is not prepared for often use. Time will show ...
Other: Necessary studio photo gadget ....
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: cheap, does what it says it does, strong enough to hold flash and large umbrella at any angle, all screws are good enough. good quality plastic. It can attach to the standard tripod, or it can be attached to the flash hotshue (didn't try it though)
Cons: none so far, months of usage
Other: It is a must for having flash and umbrella on one place. Just have in mind that if your flash is too high (too tall, especially if flash is placed on remote triger), it will not light entire umbrella, although it has nothing to do with the product itself, just keep it in mind

Pros: Construction. A lot of these cheep little umbrella holders are mostly plastic. There are some plastic handles on this, but the load bearing portions of this device appear to all be milled aluminum. Range of motion...can't beat it. 360 degrees in two directions...it pivots, and you can drop it into a slot and point it strait up, down, or any way you want. Reduces the amount of time you have to spend moving light stands.
Cons: The handles...Not a big fan of them. If anything is going to fail on this unit, it's those.
Other: Great umbrella holder for the money...or any kind of money. it does the job, well, without any hassles.

Pros: Great buy!
This swivel bracket really works well as an umbrella and flash unit holder. It has the standard 1/4" and 3/8" mounting options and is well built. The swivel ball allows for complete versatile movement and can be set at any position you want. It also works well as a head for smaller tripods too.
Cons: This item has no cons as far as I'm concerned.
Other: Great buy, good value for money and very useful!

Pros: Great little thing, I got 2 for use with my flashs and lights, much much better than any of the plastic ones you can find for less but still very cheap. The plastic ones are by far less stable and strong than this one so if you don't know which one to choose, this one is a good choice.
Cons: None so far, I can't think of anything. It's a bit heavy but that isn't necessarily a bad thing
Other: Does what it's supposed to and is very stable,it's a bit heavy but I think that is a generally a good thing as it's solidity improves the overall stability. A+

Pros: - Good materials, completely disassembled, which I facilitated the placement of a rover that would otherwise have been impossible. - The screws allow adjustments give appropriate guidance to the flash and umbrella.
Cons: - Perhaps in the first instance the ability to be as "collapsible" and adaptable complicated to arrange the items in the correct orientation.
Other: - Good product for entering the world of photography and the use of flash, maybe find one at a time of higher quality.

Pros: This is a flash shoe to flash shoe with an umbrella screw. The best use of this one is to use the tripod to flash and flash to tripod parts separately. All the parts can be used separately so it can be used to angle say a compact camera too.
Cons: The screws must be fastened using a pliar or similar tool. Be careful not to mount anything too heavy using this stand bracet umbrella holder.
Other: It is a good backup but I would not use this as an everyday tool for photography, not even for amateur use.

Pros: Very usefull item. Cheap priced. Allows the connection of both umbrella and flash on the tripod for softer light. Has a rotateble head and adjustable pins. Made of metal and plastic.
Cons: Didn't find any cons.
Other: It's an easy of use product that lets you connect an umbrella and a flash to your tripod. By using this combination you can achieve softer and more beautifull lighting effect and get better photos. Good value.
