37-in-1 Multi-Bit Screwdrivers Set - Black + Yellow

Pros: I bought this toolkit for use in repairing a dehumidifier. It had screws on the back that needed a "Y" or "split" tip screw driver. Apparently, it is an electronic type of screwdriver that I could not find it in the hardware store and the clerk had no idea what I was talking about. Sure enough, I found several kits containing the split tip screwdrivers here on DealExtreme. There are several other types of screwtips in this kit. Basically, this screwdriver kit has everything!

Cons: The latch on the outside of the box was broken when it arrived. I just wrapped a rubber band around it to close it. Sometimes the shaft falls out of the handle, but I was able to do the needed repairs on my dehumidifier and saved about $200 US.

Other: I like saving money and this kit saved me $200 for a new dehumidifier. This is a good addition to your toolkit.

Pros: Was surprised how good the handle was. It was larger than expected with nice rubberized grip. Bits are normal size, not the brittle mini bits found in similar kits. Was after a kit (harbor freight tools) with adjustable extending shaft and this as close as I could get. Price was more at DX but free freight sealed the deal and end product is I believe better than the HFT model. The extending shaft option for me makes this a more adaptable tool.

Cons: The cover latch was broken when it arrived - fixed with paper clip and hot melt glue. Delivery time was quite long, one month plus. Thought it was lost.
Have not tried bits in power driver and expect they may not stand up to that sort of heavy duty application.

Other: It's a nice kit. Very happy with purchase. Good quality, very good, useful bit selection. Would recommend to anyone with need for these special "security type" bits. Build quality would have been marked higher had the catch survived :-)

Pros: it comes with a great variety of bits - both a good variety of bit types and bit sizes each bit is labeled so you cannot confuse them very heavy duty construction

Cons: the bits came out of place during shipping, so i had to place them in their storage locations. it was annoying, but wasn't really a huge deal. other than that, everything arrived in great shape.

Other: this is a great set at a great price i'll probably buy a few more as gifts

Pros: The handle has a very good quality, the rubber gives it a good grip.
On the bits CR-V is written, i dont know if they are really from crom-vanadium, but they were not damaged during use.
You can only use the bits with the extender rod, but it can be pushed completly into the handle.
The extender rod with the magnetic holder has a good quality too.
The box of the set comed a little damaged (shipping)...
The cover of the box is lifted by a spring, also the bits are tilted up by a spring when you open the box.

Cons: cant think to anything

Other: Best multi bit screwdriver set on DX for a great price!

Pros: This has a very nice selection of bits for general use. The quality of the bits is so far good, I don't have a single bit that has detoriated or broken. The handle grips very well and I like the telescope syste, which has served me well.

Cons: The case plastic is very brittle and therefore prone to break in transport. This is no fault of DX of course. The latch of the lid does not look like it will last very long.

Other: Very good, especially for the price. If you handle it well, it will give you many years of service.

Cons: The case quality is really low It arrives damaged. The latch breaks easy enough I need to put a rubber to close it The letters in handle are fading

Other: Highly Recommended

Pros: Includes various security screws, including torx with a dent in the middle, triangular screws, and flathead with a nipple in the middle.

Cons: The plastic case is of subpar quality, but I didn't buy it for the case. Includes bits you might not need, such as standard torx.

Other: I don't know where to get this cheaper but then, I don't care because it has the tools that I require. It's a lifesaver if you need them.

Pros: Sturdy handle & great variety of bits for every type of application. Clear case makes it easy to see if any bits have gone missing while the gf/wife used the set ;P

Cons: Poor quality case (opening mechanism broke almost instantly).

Other: Great "all-in-one" tool set especially for technical and general DIY.
