What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -works as expected -sturdy -has a switch and cover -good for powering the green or blue lasers
Cons: None, really. It works as expected, it holds batteries. Maybe the stripped part of the leads could be longer, but thats very easy to do. Not really a con.
Other: Pretty basic product, nothing noteworhy either way. Works fine, good to have one or two if you need it.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Ordinary battery holder for holding 2xAAA bateries with on-off switch. Great for DIY purposes and for powering up microelectronic circuits. On/off switch is great since you don't need to take batteries out or solder/desolder anything.
Cons: It is made of hard plastics. From outside looks OK, and inside it looks a little fragile. Two AAA batteries fits perfectly.
Other: Price is a little outside of the range I intended for battery holder, but it was worth it since I eliminated on/off switch from the board and am using this one for powering off external circuit.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Battery holder box with a switch and some 15 cm (6 inch) leads, ready for use in your project. Tested with regular batteries, NiMHs and 10440 Li-Ions, all batteries fit well and have a solid contact.
Cons: Switch is in the back, so if you fix this holder with glue or drill holes for screws, the switch will be against the wall. If the switch was at the end, fixing screw holew would be a nice addition.
Other: It is robust enough, keeps your batteries under the lid. For a dollar and 40 cents delivered, take it. Or buy a few more. I will.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It holds very well AAA batteries. Also 10450 It has an "on off" switch, VERY USEFULL It is closed, so for places with dust is quite good. Plastic quality is better than expected
Cons: Nothing special Maybe wires could be better.
Other: If you need a case for AAA batterys and you are choosin a closed box or one opened, choose this closed one, really good
