Pros: Strong light with 2 intensities plus flashing red LED's if needed. Great when you need both hands to work with like fixing your tire. I used it to replace my tire when I had a flat at night without street lights.
Cons: None
Other: The best headlamp I've seen.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very bright. Better than usual quality. Easy to operate.
Cons: Strapping is a bit tight for my big head :). Dead on arrival but replaced promptly without fuss (Great support Dealextreme).
Other: Great product at the right price. Great support from Dealextreme. Buy with confidence.

Pros: Bright enough. Similar to one I own. Regulated so can be upgraded easily.
Cons: Still old tech. Red flashing LEDs are useless. Battery CAPs opened too easily. Beam not focused well...has dark spot in center.
Other: Serviceable.

Pros: Very nice headlight, extremely bright, my came with luxeon led not cree but still good light for the price. has two intensities and two bright red led that can be useful if you are hunting at night and other people can see you.
Cons: battery cap is not very tight but does not come off easily. does not have strobe or fhashing of main light. does not have cree emitter.
Other: I recomend this light, very useful for
doing work with both hands. also for riding bike at night.

Pros: Not a CREE emitter, emitter was Luxon, but still bright and better than the old incan Rayovac headlamps I had.
Cons: Not CREE, emitter was Luxon, red flashing leds are basically useless

Pros: - easy to adjust the head strap to comfortably fit your head size
- bright
- can adjust direction of light from what you are looking at to what you are working on with your hands
- compact, so it won't obstruct your way if you are going through tight areas
- light, so will be easy to wear for extended periods
- nicely made (but obviously not top quality)
Cons: - did not see any difference between 1w and 3w settings
- dark spot in center of light
- you can actually adjust the direction of the light to point directly into your eyes - this would be blinding.
- red flashing lights are very bright and are of limited use - perhaps at a party or if you are laying wounded by the side of the road and need medical attention
- one of the springs in the battery clip was loose when I received the unit and I had to fiddle around with it a bit to get the battery to contact properly.
Other: Nicely made, bright headlamp that easy to adjust both for your head size and also the direction of the lamp when you are wearing it.

Pros: This is a really good headlamp. It is comfortable to wear, and well balanced. It shines a bright focused beam of white light, instead of those silly multi-LED lights. I owned one of the first LED headlights, maybe 10 years ago put out by Brinkmann. This headlight is several times brighter. I've changed the batteries once on this light and it's easy to do. I use this light for working in the attic of our house, for getting firewood for the wood stove at night. I've also used it to work on my car at night and for crawlspace work under the house. The light has an quick adjustment for angle to bring the light beam down for closer work. I can also wear a stocking cap over the strapping in cold weather.
Cons: I haven't found any yet.
Other: For hands-free working at night, or in unlit areas this headlight can't be beat. I highly recommend it.

Pros: - Amazingly bright, noticably brighter than a 1W lamp - Can be securely attached to a helmet using zip-ties - Headstraps (comfy ones!!!) can be reversibly detached but if you attach them, they are solid and reliable - Full regulation of both the headstraps and the lamp inclination/angle - Has a nice spongy layer in the place of contact with your head which makes it comfy - Unbelievable quality/price ratio!
Cons: - The plate to which the lamp is attached could be smaller (not a serious flaw, however) - I'm not sure about build quality - the plastic looks a bit cheap but I can't clearly say if it's only the looks or a quality issue - nothing more really
Other: Amazing light for an even more amazing price. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

Pros: Bright light, comfortable to wear, lightweight, good quality and reliable. Adjustable beam angle very useful.
Cons: Second brightness level is not noticeably different to the first (which is bright enough) and flashing red LED mode seems totally pointless. Just an on/off mode would have been sufficient. Also a bit expensive.
Other: I have two of these head torches (one for over a year now), and they have never let me down. Unlike some of the cheap quality stuff you get on DX these are great. They aren't the cheapest but they are well worth the extra.
