What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works as described, good package, good build quality. No cheating, power supply is 2A output so it is really capable to give power for all 4 ports. Verified to work on w2k, XP, Vista and Windows 7. Nice looking, easy and useful software.
Cons: Driver disk has two versions of "Networking usb server". With the latest one (1.2) our printer won't work, while perfectly works with version 1.1. Might be 1.2 is a beta? Another thing this is completely no name product, not think it will be possible to find firmware or driver update. However it seems to be build on "Elite Silicon E1868 SoC series for USB-over-Ethernet" chip so might be standard drivers will work in the future.
Other: Nice gadget, makes that I'm expected from it. Think about purchasing the same for home.

Pros: - Works as described, no bugs. - Good software. - Case is all metal (aluminum?) - looks well built and looks like may tolerate some abuse (being dropped from the desk) - Easy to use.
Cons: - Price is a bit high, but i agree it is fair in line with the quality and considering the fact we will not pay shipping on DX.
Other: If you have a setup like mine - in my home I use one to three laptops, there is no "computer desk" or workplace (laptop is convenient for using anywere, on the lap, on the dining table, whatever...), this is the perfect device to sort the problem of the printer - she is now tidy at a "hidden location", together with the Wi-Fi router, external HD for back-up and more USB stuff to come (maybe a video & audio output, so I can plug on my TV wirelessly) All with the convenience of no wires around the place!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Small neat and very tidy looking works well. Does what it says it will. Good price, has a web server so you can see whats what without running the included software. the adapter although not an Australian plug is can take an input of 110 or 240 so you don't need a step down to use it, simply a socket adapter will do.
Cons: The need to install other software to access devices is a pain. Only one computer on the network is able to access the usb device at any given time. The user who accessed the usb drive last must open the software and click on disconnect in order for it to become available for other users. I had trouble with my printers bi-directional support. It still printed, but the printer driver was not able to report on the printer status.
Other: If you need a cheap solution to home network sharing, then this is perfect, but I think the software may be to awkward for a busy office.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It fit in any place.
Easy for setup, handles advanced configuration via web interface.
Fast response when printing. Handle a lot of printers models. I´m using it with a HP 1200 multifunction printer (works perfect) and with a HP1020 laserjet printer (works perfect).
Also I test it with pendrives and web cams.
Cons: Sometimes administration software has delays in updating status of devices.
Other: Works good, good price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: have no pros - its very pricey and DOES NOT make the job
Cons: its not really a nas server, its has no config screen and you CANT map a network drive but you have to install a service in each of your stations one more con is that if you print in one station than you cant print in other cause its "in use" so im very dissapointed from this
you dont have any bittorent client and absolutely no way to configure anything in this product
i should have bought D-link nas server in the first place
Other: DONT BUY THIS!!!!
