    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Good unit for adding USB ports to an older Laptop, Had a older 2-port card that finally gave out and was looking for a replacement. DX offered this one with the power usb lead. With PCMCIA cards going the way of the Floppy, and getting a little more life out of my laptop it is a great price for what you need.

    Cons: Was able to use it for Card readers, and MP3 players but had trouble with Camcorders and Printers. Seemed not to like Data hungry connections. Also heats up much more than my old 2-port one. Was hit and miss with a Bluetooth dongle also.

    Other: Good price for what it is, paid 3 times the amount years ago for a 2 port one, I find it great to use for extra USB Ports DX came through again with its price and value.
