What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: It looks and feels just like an OEM product, similar to some other batteries I bought at dealextreme. It fitted very well and the wires aligned perfectly.
The original battery only shows the 3.7V Li-Ion battery with Apple and Vendo part number without the capacity. A "Made in China" prominently printed on this original battery though. I do not know if the replacement battery would last longer than the original battery or not since even the 400mAh might not be correct.
After replace the battery, I charged it for about 30 minutes and was able to use it for more than 1 hour already.
Cons: This replacement battery is a little bit thicker than the original and thus will cause some minor problem re-assembling the Ipod Nano, especially when pushing the board + battery back into the case.
Other: You can find tutorial on how to replace the battery on youtube. I found a couple of clips on youtube which is really helpful.
If the battery of your Ipod Nano 2nd generation is quitting, this replacement battery will work fine.

Pros: It looks like original battery. It is li-polymer like original battery. The price is very good! It includes a pair of tools very useful for opening the ipod.
Cons: Battery is difficult to install, but this is not due to the battery, and is more to the fact that the battery in the ipod nano 2nd generation has it soldered into the board. Also mine has a black compound in the board and I have to cut and join the cables of the ipod and the battery together. The cables are very thin, so the soldering has to be made with care.I have used a 11 watt soldering iron and was fine. If you are not experienced with soldering, then it`s better than a friend or a professional install the battery for you because if you overheat it`s easy to damage the components.
Other: Very good part if you original one dies it does the work for a little money.

Pros: Shippment was done after three weeks. Came in package as it is shown on the picture. All characteristic printed on the battery is also the same as it is stated under product characteristic. Battery was im good after unpacking.
Cons: Very cheap regarding more expensive original Li batteries for iPod. I din't test it yet, cause my old iPod 2nd Gen is damaged in the meantime :(
Other: Nice product from DX,. Reasonable price, fast shipping and delivery. No complaints. Thank you DX!!!
