4400mAh External Battery Pack with Pouch for SKU 29489/30864 (4*18650)

Pros: Really handy backup battery for SKU 29489/30864. Identical to the original. Charges as expected and gives you the same runtimes.

Cons: Not very waterproof, so wrap a bag around it before putting it in the included pouch. Build quality isn't extremely robust, with only plastic shrink holding the piles together. It should be fine for normal riding as long as you waterproof it.

Other: Get this as a spare for SKU 29489/30864, so you won't be caught out on longer rides. It's dirt cheap and worth it for the additional safety of having double the runtime.

Pros: Exact same battery as the one provided in the Magicshine MJ808 light.

Cons: The cable running out of the battery pack itself seems a bit flimsy where the cable exits the battery pack, but it's fine if you aren't always picking at it.

Other: Get it if you want a backup or replacement battery. Don't even bother trying to make this battery pack as it will cost you the same in materials alone.

Pros: This battery pack is well priced and I would recommend it as a back up battery for MagicShine bike lights.
The pouch is reasonably robust to protect it.

Cons: If you ride in the rain you need to waterproof the battery pack, especially where the cable exits it.
Some of these packs are not balanced, so not all the batteries get charged. This obviously leads to shorter runtimes for your magicshine light. Make sure you check the runtime as soon as you get this battery.

Other: Not bad for the price but beware that some of the packs are not balanced with shorter runtimes as a result.

Pros: 4x18650 cell battery for Magicshine lights. The light I ordered is not the same as the current picture. This one has the full rubber boot over the whole battery. Very nice.

Cons: Not sure yet, some say not balanced so charging is weird. I didn't store my battery properly over the summer so I will do so this year and hopefully it will be ok. Luckily not expensive to replace every season.

Other: Great deal, new design with better waterproofing. Battery looks like this now.

Pros: - Battery pack is rubberized
- Works in rain & snow
- Works well with sku 82510
- Color-coded wires (useful when replacing the integrated connector with another one)
- The end of the pack where the cable exits is rubberized, and there is a ring surrounding it for more reinforcement
- Great price

Cons: - Corners of outer fabric are starting to get a bit frayed

Other: For this price, I am clearly impressed with this battery pack.
As with other magicshine packs, this contains 4x18650 cells in a 2x2 serial-parallel configuration.

Pros: New revision is waterproof! Now it's really great. And it's powerfull. I can use one battery to power Garmin GPS on maximum screen brighness for 20 hours or more than 4 hours with SKU 29489/30864.

Cons: None. Old revision was not waterproof but new one is great.

Other: Really great battery for bicycle. You can power SKU 29489/30864 and other devices at once. I always have two of them in my backpack.

Pros: The auxiliary battery looks well done with its case with adjustable snaps, so you can put in any place. The battery can also be extracted from its housing. The attack on the type of lamp is sealed so that it can also be used in wet weather. Really necessary if you plan to program a night out of at least 3 or 4 hours to not be in the dark. A product that I can recommend.

Cons: If you muddy it is difficult to clean, but with a little patience is as good as new.

Other: Excellent well made product that I can recommend.

Pros: The quality is better than the original battery pack include with the lamp . I hope it's better waterproof than my older dead battery

Pros: Compared to the earlier version, this is a very good build. The battery is much more robust (I broke my old one since my cable snapped: I don't think that can happen with this version). Overall, the battery life also seems much improved: I now can do easily do more than 4 hours on the highest power.

Cons: The cable and socket of the light don't have a perfect fit. As a result, I sometimes need to play a little bit with the cable in order to actually have light. This only takes a few seconds and everything is in order then. Hence, it's only a minor issue.

Other: Very good value and much improved compared to the earlier version.

Cons: Advertised initial capacity is probably a little optimistic. The capacity drops with use. Although this happens with all batteries, these seem to decay faster than some. Then again it is cheap. After about 50 outings my original cell had dropped to about 2/3 capacity.

Other: Good value. You could buy 2 or 3 of these for the price of some other batteries.
