Pros: It fits in an Acer Extensa 5230e, allthough you need to mod the case a little, there is a little plastic bar preventing the battery to go in, i removed that( there is nothing under that bar) then a little push and it's in! My laptop works for about 2,5 - 3 hours on it.

Cons: You need to mod the case,
The laptop dousn't detect the battery, so you have to guess howmuch battery life is left.

Other: You need to risk cutting some pieces out of your laptop,( with an acer extensa 5230e ) but it will work.. I'll post some pictures..

Pros: I have an Acer 5515. this was not listed in the description, but I knew it was similar to the others listed. It fit perfectly, and worked the first time without charging. I use Linux, and in the ...../BAT1/UEVENT file, it showed the manufacturer as SONY, So although it is a Generic battery, something inside may be licensed by SONY which has a good reputation for Li-ion.

Cons: Since this is a generic battery, for the first couple of charge cycles, the circuitry in the battery and the battery management section of the computer need to adjust to each other, this is normal. So for the first couple of times, the OS reported that there was still 30 minutes left, and then suddenly it went dead and powered off. So I just charged full, rebooted in windows and did a full discharge. After that, everything was O.K.

Other: It worked great for me. Before this, I tried replacing the cells, but I had trouble due to my shoddy workmanship, so I just went ahead and bought this product instead, and am happy I did.

Pros: It was cheap and with free shipment

Cons: It was defective. I had to pay for send the battery to United Kingdom about 10 euros and then I had to pay for get a new item about another 10 euros. Then the item is not so cheap.

Other: I will not buy anything more in DX. Nobody writes me giving explanations. I'm not glad with the dx service

Pros: Great battery, works longer then the original one as it was new. Superb build quality! Plug&play with no problems!

Cons: Cold not have found any!

Other: It is a very good build laptop battery, which works with no problems at all in an Acer Aspire 5610z, it is all just plug&play! The price is unbeatable too, I don't think you can find it anywhere as cheap as it was here, at least not with such good build quality!

Pros: Perfect fit on Aspire 5610. No need for any modifications mentioned in reviews for other models of aspir computers. It is stronger than orginal battery, cheap. After three cicles of compleete discharging and charging cicles it holds about 3 hours of work.

Cons: Non so far!

Other: Buyt his if you own Aspire 5610.In my case, for this price, I think I can not make a mistake.

Pros: works as expected: fixing perfectly in my Acer notebook, and the duration is as when it was a new one. About two hours of working time with unplugged notebook.

Cons: Nothing, excepting the usual delay time: I had to wait almost 40 days to receive the battery by mail, as usual in DX.

Other: A good product for its price, anyway. The original spare part is much more expensive and difficult to get. It's functional and fits perfectly in the laptop. About two hours autonomy for it.
