45W 300x5050 SMD LED RGB Light Car Decoration Lamp (12V / 5M)

Pros: This RGB LED strips is very useful. Easy to install with very good 3M tape. I use 1M of led strips in outdoor(on the place where it rains) and woorks fine. Its cheap and appropriate for all indoor and outdoor decorations.

Cons: Controler have low distance. I recommend buy wireless controler for LED strip. (i use it to living room and have controler hiden under roof wall)

Pros: Cheapest RGB led strip I could find. Build quality is good. Flexible silicone tubing covers the strip and has (propably) water proof caps in both ends. Easy to cut to

Cons: No info on Powersuply power (you can calculate this) but would be nice if the power consumption is rated in Amps Controller is ...

Other: I've also used sku14852, which is similar but costs $20 more. The only real differences I can spot are the controller+remote (this one is better) and the fact that this one has a sort of protection tube, where sku14582 has a glue-strip on the back. I'm planning to cut parts of the LED strip to use in projects where I'll make my own controller. So I would prefer the glue strip over the protection tube, but then again this one is $20 cheaper.

Pros: Cheap, bright, set with remote controller. The best color mixing because all three colors in one chip. Wide light beam angle. Nice automatic color changing programs. Very small controller.

Cons: Received without connector "needles" between LED strip and RGB controller, so I need to find some in my stock. Not specified current rating to choose proper power supply.

Other: I think it is cool christmas tree decoration too.

Pros: Very bright light, many functions on controller. Comes ready to use, only needs a power-supply.

Cons: Ordered 4pcs, one of them had a bad solder in a junction. But it was easy to fix.

Other: Good value! Nice bright light! Recommended! But as stated, should be mounted on a metal surface for heatsink. If all colors are at full intensity the strip gets a bit hot.

Pros: This is the best buy at DX right now for an RGB light strip. It is bright and efficient. At full power it is sufficient to well light a good sized room and only draws 2.2 amps. The controller has good range and works well. Installation is easy if a few simple rules are followed. Notes on that below.

Cons: Two blue leds died on the strip shortly after turning it on. This has no impact on the lighting function and is not visible the way I have it mounted. As long as no others die I will be happy. I don't expect any more failures. Those were probably what is often called in the industry "infant mortality". It means the manufacturer didn't run the strip long enough during testing. Even so, it is not a reason to hold off on buying this product. If it really mattered one could cut a section off the end and replace the bad LED easily. I had about 30 cm left over anyway.

Other: Excellent choice for variable colour area lighting. I really like it.

Cons: Have though... already seen two dead leds :-( I should have picked the one with more RGB Functions....see it when i start to experiment.

Other: like it.... cheap.....little experimentation...so what...thats what i do every day....:-)

Pros: First of all, it's very easy to adapt it to your needs. Just cut the length you need and you are done. Self-adhesive tape on the back makes it very simple to attach it to almost anything, like under a TV-bench or behind a speaker or whatever your imagination can come up with. And one more important thing is that every LED includes all three colors, so when you change color you don't see the different LED:s lighting up. Strip that have separate LED:s will give you a green spot, a red spot and a blue spot on the wall, which is not so nice. And if 45W is not enough, just add another line next to the first one... Easy!

Cons: You need to check your strip for a few days, as the ends has a tendency to fall off. But just rub it back a few times and that should be it.

Other: Very easy to use. Good price.

Pros: The product is still working fine with no more failed LEDs. I bought another for a young man with autism and it is helping him sleep much better. It is also helping me sleep as I have a serious sleep disorder. Since I installed it and use it properly it has really helped a lot. The secret is to eliminate all blue light a couple of hours before going to sleep. Not coincidentally, NASA is doing the same thing for the International Space Station. This is one of the best investments I have made here.
