480mAh 3.7V Replacement Lithium Battery with Tools for iPod Video

Pros: My ipod what not what it use to be. I could fully charge that thing and I wouldn't have to charge it for at least 2-3 days. But recently I was lucky just to get one day. I searched online for replacement but they wanted at least $25. This battery was only $5, what a deal. It took me like 10 minutes from start to finish. The only hard thing about this is your patience. Just be careful along the edges when prying open the case. After that it is all down hill. I only suggest that before you close the lid back turn the unit around and test the power. You don't want to close the lid and realize that your connection isn't secure. Charge , charge and charge. The package says 3 hours. Just place on charger and leave it alone. go read a book or cut the grass. Let your iPod rest...you just performed surgery on it.

Cons: The instructions are not that great. The tools included are not hard plastic so I used a small flat head to pry(be careful). Just be patience. When you open it up you will be in awe for a few seconds. It looks interesting inside. So be careful and just change the battery...leave everything else alone.

Other: Just do it, your ipod will thank you with beautiful music and podcast!!!

Pros: This Battery is the best +Price +quality +Tools +English Manuaal If you have a 5th G Ipod and enough positions to install this battery then go for it !!

Cons: Well you have to be a little bit handy and have some skill if you want to install this battery in to your Ipod, Its not really easy to get your ipod open( I broke both tools trying to open it) you also have to be real carful because if you damage you HDD that’s going to set you back at leas $ 60. Ones inside it real easy just remove and disconnect the old one battery and connect the new one close yours ipod, test it and charge the new battery because if you damage you HDD that’s going to set you back at leas $ 60.

Other: Big sever My battery life when down to 2/3 hours ,with this new battery you can get more then 6 or 7 hours, BUY IT !!

Pros: Battery worked fantastic. Brought new life into my iPod. Holds enough charge for about 7-8 hours of battery life with music, and about 4 for video. Couldn't be more pleased with it!

Cons: The only con was that the tools provided snapped. I had great difficulty opening the case of the iPod. It was solved eventually. The battery was worth it.

Other: A good replacement battery that isn't expensive and does what it says on the tin. The tools will snap as they aren't well made but they get the job done. Delivery is DXs only real problem at the moment. I ordered this in Oct and it arrived in Dec. Still its cheaper than the highstreet.

Pros: If you need a replacement battery for a 30 Gig iPod Video (i.e. Generation 5 or 5.5 iPod Classic) this is a bog-standard kit at a reasonable price.

Cons: Contrary to what some say, this isn't really right for a 60/80 Gig model - not because it's thinner but because the fatter batteries also have a longer cable to traverse the bulkier hard disc on those models.
Whilst these are the same as the original Apple equipment, higher capacity batteries are available at only slightly more cost - if you're going to go to all the trouble of cracking open the iPod then it's worth considering this economical upgrade...

Other: If you haven't done this before, take comfort in the fact that getting the iPod open is the only really difficult part. Once you're in, do use the smaller tool provided (or a very small flatblade screwdriver) to open the clip that holds the battery cable to the circuit board, though. If you don't treat that clip with respect you can quite easily detach the whole battery connector which is not really repairable and takes you into a whole world of iPain...

Pros: cheap as id imagine something like this could be.
the included instructions guided me through the process quite effectively.
Saved my girlfriends old ipod and made me look like a superhero.

Cons: tools not that great and broke while i was using them. That said, they eventually did the job and not like ill need to use them again. Dont really care as i bought this for the battery, not the cheap plastic tools.

Other: if your old ipod is dead in a drawer somewhere, pick this up! $5 to save your several hundred dollar investment would be well worth it.

Do not think of switching device so early, so I decided to buy the

I think the version of the product at 850 mAh is better for those who want a longer duration of use of the device.

Cons: long expeditions paid on 4/3/2012, 12/3/21012 shipped, arrived 15/5/2012 I waited 2 months

Pros: It took me 5 minutes to make the change! the tools do all the work! you just have to take care when opening all the way, but its SUPER easy.

Cons: None that i can think of, it truly is a "just as advertised" product. It didnt came with a "double sticky tape" i had to glue it so it wouldnt be bouncing around once closed.

Other: Locally i was going to get charged $50usd, and its a half hour drive away, instead it cost me 1:10 the price and it took 5 minutes of my day!!! but, i had to wait a long time to get it... still, WORTH IT!

Pros: Good quality and price. It tooks not more than 20 min to change the battary in my Ipod Viedo 30Gb to the new one. Tools to raplace the battary are also included.

Cons: Tools are not useful. I've used my pocket knife. It looks interesting inside. So be careful and just change the battery.leave everything else alone.
