5.25" PC Front Panel LCD Thermostat + Fan Speed Controller with Overheat Alarm

Pros: The item is cheap.Installation is easy.
It has 3 heat sensors (CPU,VGA,HDD), you can easily choose what information to display.
Several background light colours, you could set your prefered one or leave the light to change colour every few seconds.
System overheat alert is set to 60°c by default but you could change it.

Cons: Only time is displayed not the date as stated in description.
Fan speed is also not shown : just an animated blade symbol flashing ! Therefore, don't even think to control the speed. :-(
The screws provided are useless because they could not be fixed on the chassis; too small ! I had to find another way to mount the device and keep it in place.

Other: I would say that this device is just fine if you want to make your PC visually more attractive. Displayed details are simply informational, no interactive action is possible.However, it'll be probably hard to find better for the same price.

Pros: For the price, the best one you can get!
Cool LCD with a lot of backlight colors
Temperature Sensor for the CPU, VGA and HD
Monitor the temp, time, on the LCD, and also has one fan control.
The HDD monitor is useless for me, never used it, but might be usefull for someone :}

Cons: A bit hard to get the CPU/VGA sensor the exact temp, but its realy close to the real one

Pros: Give an amazing upgrade to the PC visual!
It provides a constant temperature of the CPU, VGA card and HDD
Controls the speed of 1 fan (I used to control the fan speed of HDDs) which reduces the noise of the PC
Has varied display colors and can be selected only one or a variation in between them (opt for green)
Very cheap!
Provides the time all the time, easy to see
Selectable between C. an F. temperature unity.

Cons: The construction is not very good, My came defective ... the two lines below the LCD sometimes work sometimes No. Cost of freight for exchange is greater than the product ...
The speed of the fan is not in parallel with the taking of the motherboard, which prevents the computer know the speed
The thermometers has no capacitors to maintain constant reading.
60C is the minor alarm temperature selectable.. is a very high...

Other: If you have a 5 1/4 bay free... think about it

Pros: The different colored LED's are great if you're into customizing your rig. Easy to install and looks good.

Cons: Heat sensors are not as shown. The wires do not end in a flat ribbon to allow them to be positioned between a processor and heatsink for very accurate readings.

Other: If you want your computer to look flashy for a small price, I would recommend this. If you're looking for high performance, look elsewhere.

- min. temp for alarm is 60 degrees celsius, very high
- temp sensors are't flat

Other: A very good front panel for a low price

Pros: The display is very bright (My case has a frosted window in front and this shines through it.)

Ooooh, pretty lights

Cons: Doesn't stay in place very well if you bump it. My case has a hard time holding it the 3.5 bay.
The temperature sensors aren't perfectly accurate, and they are hard to keep in place.

Other: I wouldn't use it to benchmark temperatures or anything, but for general case temp and a really snazzy looking display, get it!

Pros: 1. Good value. 2.Sensors for HDD, VGA and CPU work. 3. Easy to install. 4. Controls fan speed by voltage, 8.4 vdc minimim. Voltage goes up when front panel heated.

Cons: 1. Fan speed controlled by sensor built into the front panel board so you can't choose what sensor to actually control fan speed. 2. Does not remember options setup when PC powered off (it remembers time, a battery). 3. No instructions. 4. Fan makes a funny annoying noise. Disconnected.

Other: Kind of a neat product. A little tricky to operate at first.

Pros: Does its basics functions... not as good as I expected but I can not as for anything better for the price I got it...

Cons: Very cheap componnent. Doesn't work as I expected. Doesn't have a memory function for the screen light. Every time you turn your computer on, the light is different from the one you had set-up the last time you used it. Also, the temperature sensors are very easy to break. One of mine is not working anymore...

Other: Cheap product, not as expected.

Cons: - A qualidade do produto é baixa
- Sem muita função
- Não tem como aumentar a velocidade do cooler
- Os sensores estão sempre, em média, 5°C abaixo da temperatura real dos periféricos.
- O plug da luz de trabalho do HD deveria vir com uma extensão ou adaptador, para poder ligar o LED do gabinete também, pois, ou você usa o do gabinete ou usa a do painel.

- The sensors are always on average 5°C below the actual temperature of the peripherals.
- The plug light work of the HD should come with an extension or adapter to connect the power LED on the case too, because either you use the case LED or use the panel.

Other: No geral eu gostei da compra, pois o preço é baixo e meu PC ficou com uma aparência muito legal, a única coisa que pega mesmo é não ter muita funcionabilidade!!!
Overall I liked the purchase because the price is low and my PC was looking very nice, the only thing that gets it is not much functionality!!!

Pros: Can't beat the price Easy enough to install. Easy to use. Nice addition to my PC.

Cons: No instructions. Screws supplied are too small.

Other: Great addition to an otherwise boring black box I had for a PC. Haven't seen anything like this anywhere else. For the price you can't go wrong.
