What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Good size Useful Cheap
Cons: Average build quality: blades don't meet squarely and are a bit irregular
Other: A handy tool which does the job and is cheap, although not the greatest build quality.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: does the job great and is cheap
Cons: none come to mind
Other: buy it if you need a cheap electrical cutter
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This one is excellent when working with printed circuit boards, it cuts the components very near the board
Cons: The build quality could be better, the two halves of the cutter does not meet exactly. The handles could have given a better grip, but then again, at this price...
Other: Very good tool, hard to get any better at this price.

Pros: - Quality hardened stainless steel jaws.
- The design is smart and the build quality is nice (symmetrically shaped blades that meet square on).
- Can cut those "hard to reach" wires and component legs.
Cons: - Better grip handles would be nice.
Other: This is a good tool at a good price, simple as that.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: good and cheep,
cut very good and easily - sharp
Cons: non.
.
Other: get one, get 3.....
just don't cut thick wires with it
.

Pros: i needed a good set of wire cutters and thats what i got couldnt have asked for much more there very nice thy do there job very well the spring is a nice thing to dont have to keep pulling apart and u dont get your fingers court in them
Cons: none i can think of would be nice if thy has a wire stripper in it to but really isnt need at all
Other: buy if you in need of a good pair of wire cutters
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Compact cutting instrument.
Excellent for hobby electronics use.
Well-balanced spring return doesn't require too much effort to squeeze, yet opens back up quite nicely.
Insulated handles (while one probably shouldn't be cutting live wires, it does mean that the operator's hands aren't touching bare cold metal).
Cons: Central pivot point gives in a little at the maximum squeeze. Blades don't meet absolutely perfectly.
Other: A worthwhile hand tool for a hobby user.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This is a very neat cutter.
It's sharp, the handles are very nice also.
In your hand it feels like a professional tool..............
Cons: None really. Maybe the should add something like a ''lock''. So the cutter is closed when not used.
Other: Great cutter for a good price. If you need something like this, buy one!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: these are great cutters !
i work with electronics every day and I find these cutters pretty good.
I cannot comment on how hard the steel is, but they seem ok so far.
Fine cutting edge, great for stripping light gauge wire.
Cons: the handle are not comfortable, they are made from very hard plastic and are fairly thin.
But its not too bad overall
Other: Great cutters and great price
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These work very well for cutting small wires, component leads, and other fine items. The blades seem sharp (don't know how long they will last however)
The best part about this SKU is the disproportionately large handles, compared to many other cutters. This makes the unit a bit ugly, but transfers more of your energy when you cut, resulting in very clean cuts (essential for electronic component leads)
Cons: Did not have a protector for the cutting tip. A piece of plastic would come in handy and cost a fraction of a penny. If you are not careful, you can poke someone's eye out with unprotected small cutters.
Other: If you only have larger cutters and struggle to trim thin wires with them, get this. It is very well suited for fine wires.
