5-LED Mini Flashlight (1xAAA)

Pros: This flashlight is very cheap, especially if ordered in bulk. Unlike other keychain sized flashlights, it uses a AAA battery and 5 bright LEDs. It produces a surprisingly bright flood, enough to light a trail outdoors.

Cons: Build quality is mediocre, and it feels cheap. I carried it for three months, and once or twice it did not turn on until I tightened the tailcap. This said, it's still far more reliable than other keychain sized flashlights, and a little more reliable than the cheaper aluminum Luxeons and 9-LED flashlights.

Other: I find this flashlight to be a good compromise. It's convenient enough to be used on keychains and in gloveboxes, yet bright enough to be used outdoors. Perfect for gifts.

Pros: Looks pretty good. Hasn't failed on me yet. Used it between Dec 2008 to Apr 2009 every night coming off the bus from work to light my way home. Love the fact that it uses 1x AAA. Cheap battery replacement. Lightweight, fits in pocket, goes on keychain, etc, very convenient.

Cons: Actual build quality IS cheap, light spreads instead of focusing due to the 5 little so called LED lens. Feels like there's only one light inside but has 5 lenses on the outside, thus the weak light.

Other: I do want something with stronger light but this has both the ideal size and weight that I need.

Pros: strong enough light, solid construction, nice colour, light weight, small, needs only one AAA battery

Cons: turning on is not working on "clicky on/off" system as stated in product information - you have to screw/unscrew the head part of the light

Other: I bought it as a gift and I believe it will serve its purpose - orientation in dark indoor-spaces
