5000mAh Replacement Lithium Battery Pack for Apple Macbook 13" (A1185) Laptops

Pros: I searched around for Macbook batteries for a while before finding this one at trusty Dealextreme. Shipped quickly. Cheapest price by a long shot ($20). Works as intended with no ill effects.

Cons: Battery life is shorter than a new Macbook battery (I get 2 hours consistently)

Other: Buy it. Other replacement batteries will cost you twice as much and give you marginally better performance. If you want a backup or, like me, had just burnt my old battery out and was being driven crazy by having the computer shut down every time it became disconnected from the power source, this was a great and cheap solution.

Pros: - Cheap
- Good build quality
- Lasts about 4 hours on my MacBook CoreDuo

Cons: - Not anyone so far

Other: Less than half price, decent lifetime and good build quality. Pretty much the same as an original one from Apple.

Pros: Great value and cheap! Much cheaper than a normal proper Apple battery pack. Works fine just like the genuine Apple battery pack. Easy to install.

Cons: None.

Other: Buy it to replace your old dead battery! Or just get it as a spare in case anything happens to the original one.

Pros: Yesterday I received the replacement battery for my MacBook. The shipment to the Netherlands was very fast (considering shipment from China), it took about 2 weeks. The battery looked just like the original from Apple and the build quality is similar. I can't say much about how long the battery lasts because I've only got it for one day.

Cons: The color is slightly different (more white) from the original. This could be because the MacBook is about 1,5 years old.

Other: Bottom-line is you should buy this battery if you're looking for one. The price is great and the quality feels great to. I can recommend this to everyone!

Pros: Works as an original (even includes power indicator). About a 3rd of the cost of a new OEM battery. 3.5 hours (browsing & wifi) use OS/X 2.5 hours Windows use (OEM less with Windows too so no problem here) Battery life seems very good and compares well to original.

Cons: These are not drastic 'CONS' but worth mentioning: Colour slightly different (but noticeable) The time remaining isn't always 100% accurate (it will just switch off with 20-30 mins left - easily avoided by simply setting the warning to 35-40 mins etc) Seems the 'cycles' increase by 2x each charge (mine has been charged twice but now says 8x - it arrived with 4x already on) Battery isn't as perfect a fit as the OEM (but it's fine and to be expected for a knock off)

Other: If you need a MACbook battery get this. It's performance is near identical to an OEM and the slight issue with the remaining time showed in the OS not being acurate can be avoided quite easily.

Pros: Since I have received it, i have been quite positive about this battery and I still am. I have already posted a review earlier which confirms this. Still, I have to get back on the build quality. I will explain this below.

Cons: I am using it for 8 months now and it is broken. It will not charge anymore. I think it's broken now. The indicator on the back works and lights one led, but OS X tells me it isn't charging.

Other: I will try to fix it. Still after 8 months of use, I am going to buy it again. The price is OK, but for the time of use a bit expensive. Maybe I will have more luck with a new one.

Pros: -works as genuine
-checked with coconut battery and the charge levels were as told.
-brings new energy to your old macbook

Cons: -build quality not so good as original, for example light bleeding through plastic from the leds

Other: -for the price, I chose this to bring energy to my 2 year old macbook.
Bought it as a replacement for the original (2y old) battery.
Has worked fine and haven't had any probs at all. (atleast yet!)

Pros: - it's good as apple's orginal genuie battery!!!!!!!!
- good buid quality, looks and feels almoust like original
- after half year of using, with coconut battery app, battery capacity is still in 99 precent!!! With my experience of apple's battery packs, DX's battery keeps it's capacity better than original.
- price is about 1/3 of original!

Cons: - knob at bottom is made of plastics instead of rubber, so you will have 1 plastic knob and 3 rubber knob
- colour is slightly different than my white macbook (i don't care cause my macbook is already so old and crappy anyway)

Other: absolutely great choice, if you need battery for your macbook. It's good as apple's original battery nothing more, works with it about 2-3 hours, it would be nice to have 10 hours battery to my macbook, but this will be fine until you get some of those here :)

Pros: + way cheaper than Apple originals + originally worked nicely, with up to 3 hours usage (subjective)

Cons: After only 61 cycles the battery refuses to work anymore ("Battery is not charging", "Check battery"). I tried resetting SMC and PRAM but it doesn't help. The battery still has charge (according to the indicator, 3/5 leds light up) but I just can't figure out how I could revive it. My MacBook seems to charge other batteries just fine. My original battery failed the same way after about 600 cycles. I guess it's possible that my MacBook is somehow faulty and broke both the batteries.

Other: I was originally very happy with the battery but it failed very early on.

Pros: Amazing battery! i've had it for more then 1 year and i still get 5hrs of life out of it... better then my original macbook battery i think.
It has the testing lights like the original apple battery which is a plus.
fits perfectly, feels like the original

Cons: no the same color but who cares???
knob is plastic but still the same size so you don't see any difference.

Other: excellent product for the price.
i will buy that product again if i need another battery.
not shipping cost... what else do you want?
