5000mAh Replacement USB Power Station with Adapters

Pros: Works as advertised. Something like this is an almost essential companion to a Desire HD, which has a sucky battery life, and can't take an extended battery.

Cons: Had some trouble with powering downstream devices while the battery was charging, though that's probably not something it was explicitly intended for. I think it needed to be turned on to charge the downstream devices, which appeared to interrupt its charge cycle (or at least overrode the display).

Other: Works well, looks good.

Pros: Clean lines, well-designed ergonomics. Nice form-factor next to a phone. Choice of half-amp (official USB spec) or high-current socket depending on what you're trying to charge. I wasn't expecting a power switch. I like the charge level lights. A nice variety of tips, including I think one for my previous Nokia micro-coaxial plug. The back side is a non-slip surface. I can either leave it under my phone, or facing the table. Facing the phone, the two stay lined up neatly in my short pocket.

Cons: I'm not a fan of coiled cords. I swapped the provided multi-tip cable for a spring-reel multi-tip cable. (sku 117713)
