500mA Car Cigarette Powered USB Adapter/Charger (DC 12V/24V)

Pros: This is a nice addition to any gadgeteer. I realize that there are tons on DC/USB adapters on the market and I have a few myself. But this is unique. It is small and compact. It fits flush into any auto. Some newer model cars already incorpate USB connectors. This could also be used in a non smokers auto to utilize that unused space. But I just use this because it contours to the console of the car. It is nice to have in any vehicle.

Cons: Only wish it had a voltage light to indicate power to the unit. Other than that I have no complains.

Other: Get it.

Pros: Very small design, (almost) fits inside your 12 volt car socket for sigarette lighters. Indicator light shows if power is available. Can be used to charge any device that supports being charged via USB connection. (E.g. my phone and GPS)

Cons: In my Opel Vivaro the unit sticks out of the sigarette lighter for 5mm. Which is too bad because it could have made a sleek look if it would fit perfectly in. It doesn't matter for the functionality though. But i guess in others cars it could be to short to make contact. Depends on the socket. When i try to remove the USB plug the whole unit comes out of the socket. Would be nice if the unit had a stronger grasp or securing meganism.

Other: Great device, i'm ordering a lot more for myself and to give to others.

Pros: This is great! it is built with a real metal shield, fantastic size and very durable.

Cons: none! it´s perfect cannot complain

Other: this is a perfect gadget couldnt have asked for more and for everyone elts out there who is like me and is buying there to take them apart and solder the phone cable right to it or make something with it, its perfect for it! First thing i did was take it apart and it does so very nicely and the inner working are oh so very nicely done!

Pros: Simple, effective charger Works on my iphone 3gs

Cons: Didn't fit perfectly the socket on my car, I had to cut some of it. LED always stays on. Difficult to disassemble without breaking.

Other: When I removed the round cap, I could see that the PCB inside was exactly the depth of my car's cigarette lighter. So, by cutting the round plastic cap, I could make it fit perfectly. It didn't need to have pins 2 and 3 of the USB connector shorted, as most cheap chargers do.

Pros: This Car Cigarette Powered USB Adapter/Charger is a very small device, much smaller than competitors. It has a very nice build quality (metal and plastic). The device is very cheap compared to competing devices.

Cons: does charge batteries, but be aware, may cause device-failure. Did damage my bluetoth headset while charging. Now it doesn't keep it's charge anymore.

Other: buy at your own risk; as said, it does what it's supposed to do, but isn't very stable which is disastrous for some devices.

Pros: A just-plug-it-in USB solution for your car! Great build quality, I love the shape of the LED.

Cons: Longer than my car's lighter socket so it sticks out. I would gladly pay a few dollars extra for a retractable one! It didn't charge my girlfriend's Motorola W510. The phone would detect the cable but there was no charging done.

Other: It's a good deal.

Pros: My wife needed a USB adapter to fit the socket on her motorscooter. (To charge her phone)... There isn't much room in the glove box of the Suzuki, and this little adapter fits perfectly. As the power to the socket is "off" when the scooter isn't running, she can leave the USB cable hooked up all the time, ready for use, when riding. Plenty of output to charge, and the LED glowing lights up the interior of the glovebox a bit.. Overall a good product at a good price, from good people.

Cons: Nothing at all to complain about, except that I should have bought 2 of these.

Other: You know you need one.

Pros: A great little product, the size of it and simply spectacular, is so small that no bother at all unlike that of many others. Um pequeno grande produto, o tamanho dele e simplesmente espectacular, é tão pequeno que não incomoda nada ao contrario de muitos outros.

Cons: nothing to say, simply amazing nada a dizer, simplesmente espectacular

Other: uses gps, mp4, mobile phone or PDA? Then buy this product, simply amazing and works very well se usa gps, mp4, telemóvel ou pda então compre este produto, simplesmente incrível e funciona muito bem

Pros: - It looks very well built. - Stainless Steel body for the silver coloured parts, and plastic for the black parts. It feels very sturdy and it doesn't look like a cheap product. - Includes a red light. - Small size, so if you want your adapter to look like one more of your car parts it's just perfect!

Cons: Only two cons: - Doesn't include a fuse! so you can't be sure 100% that your gadgets will be safe. I'm not sure if you can "install" a fuse inside, and don't know either what fuse specifically install. - Doesn't come in a package, so if you want these for resell, you should sell them in the little plastic bags that they come :(

Other: - Great gadget, looks sturdy, the only con is that it doesn't have a fuse, everything else is fine.

Pros: The shape, the color and over all the other things; the size, is espectacular. Looks almost hiden in the panel of the car, compared with other that are very long. At night you just see the little green light.

Cons: I have no cons, makes everithing I want it do.

Other: Among all the usab chargers for car that i've seen, maybe this one is the best, or one og the best, considering everithing I said before.
