Pros: the light show looks great! great effect, even from a distance this looks brilliant. the tripod is also very handy, it's easy to find a good position. build quality seems fine to me. there is a moving part with a motor inside, I hope that it will last.

Cons: the power adapter does not come with EU plugs, only US flat type plugs. the power adapter seems cheap and gets warm after a while. this part will probably need to be replaced at some point (5V 1.5A is easy to replace however). the sound sensor is not very sensitive unless you play your music very loud (like in a club)

Other: great buy, highly recommended for parties. kids love it as well - this would work great to light up the ceiling of a kid's room!

Other: It's really a lot of fun, much brighter than I anticipated, I can actually display dancing laser dots on the houses across the street if I want to. :) It has a setting to react to the music/sound that I didn't really get to work, but it might need a lot louder music than I had on at the moment.

Pros: It is wonderful if you use to organize partys and use music as main course. The automatic function that turns laser on when music is above a certain thershold level works perfectly, the motor that creates the spining effects on the two lights make a psychedelyc sensation, right what I want to. For a 20-40 people party it's ideal. Range is almost infinite, so you can projectthe light over a wall or on the dance floor. The alluminium case gives it enough mechanic

Cons: Maybe the buttons and controls on the back could be damaged with the use, but honestly speakig, there are no cons for the price.

Other: For a soundsystem, it's ideal.

Pros: Impressive little gadget. Light weight, but delivers more than expected. The Green Laser is really bright, and the filter makes an impressive pattern of stars. The red laser is not as powerful, but complements the scenery well. Easy to use and it works well when activated in Music mode. When used correctly it puts the room in an fairytale mode.

Cons: A bit noisy, so it must be used in eviroments with ether music or quite a bit of background noise. Cord on powersupply should be at least 9 feet total. Todays 3 feet are a bit short.

Other: Really good value for the dough.

Pros: The product is suprisingly small, yet the housing feels firm and definitly not cheap. The laser is pretty powerful, even more than I expected given the specifications. It has a lot of options and comes with a build-in mic so you can switch to 'music operated', you can manually set the speed of the effect engine and you can manually set the strobe speed.

Cons: I was bored by the effect pretty soon. It only does one thing. However, I don't think this should count as a 'con' since it was mentioned in the product description on the DX website. It's just a projector with one effect, not a complete laser show.

Other: Perfect product for this price.

Pros: AC adaptor is nice small size and North American friendly (no big adaptors). Laser coverage is good and bright. Controls are perfect for ambient use - speed control is useful. Lights instantly when used on a switched power bar.

Cons: None yet.

Other: Have ordered other similar lasers (-from other supplier) - only to find Green laser element stopped working after only a few hours. This particular unit has been very reliable.
