Pros: This reflector offers an extreamly tight beam. Better than a 8deg MR16 or 6deg 10w HID when used with a P7 LED.
The copper base can be unscrewed and you can mount a bare emitter to it.
The base and reflector then act as a heatsink though I think you will also need more heat sinking.
Cons: To get it to mount in a mag head flush you need to grind/machine down the lip. It took me 30 minutes with a dremel and sandpaper.
Be carefull that it does not get too hot as it seems to be coated and this may blemmish.
This then allowed me to use 2 x 1.8mm glass lenes.
Short range it does give a slight donut effect but its not a problem
Other: Very very good choice for a mag dive light conversion.
Im happy.

Pros: Focuses P7 to give awesome throw, large concentrated hotspot, and giant bright spill.
Conducts heat from emitter to pill to reflector to head very well.
Unmodified, drops right into WF-500 head.
Modified, makes Mag C/D head into same torch as sku 14412.
Reflector is direct replacement for several P7 torches with same diameter reflector.
Cons: Pill doesn't appear to be pure copper (probably is brass), which made it more difficult to cut (see other thoughts).
Other: Inexpensive part that can be used to make an absolutely awesome torch.

Pros: It fits perfectly to replace the bulb of my mag lite with a P7 SSC led directly driving with 3 Ni-Mh D cell.
I added another empty cell (as a short circuit) to reach the full battery capacity .
The only mods i added are:
i turned on a lathe the head of the reflector to let it go inside the head of the mag lite (about less than 1mm).
i turned upside down the battery to avoid short circuit.
REMEMBER that the P7 SSC led have POSITIVE (in the bottom) in contact with the reflector and the case of the mag lite is NEGATIVE. Just turning upside down the battery cell, everything works well.
Cons: none
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Other: Very good reflector, clear, has a medium spot that is useful in short distance to about 150 mt.

Pros: -Nice quality reflector, very shiny surface
-parts fit together perfectly
-good fit for an sscp7
-good thermal conduction
Cons: -reflector surface is extremely sensitive, don't touch it with anything if possible to keep it perfect. I scratched it with a microfibre cloth!
-I think it is not a tight beam at all. If you like hot spot and lots of spill, you'll like this.
Other: Perfect for making your own flashlights. Might be possible to get tighter beam by not screwing the pill all the way in, but that will hinder the heat conduction and you'll have to glue it in place.

Pros: will fit into a D cell mag light with some slight modification to the aluminum outside rim. Threading was done very well, base is closer to brass rather than copper. P7 LED # 12721 fits with room to spare. I used 5-mode driver # 20329 which will fit inside with some modifications to the driver sandwich. Sinks heat away from LED very well by itself.
Cons: Nothing I can tell.
Other: Overall it's a great product, and at that price you can't go wrong.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: I tried it with an XP-G R5 and it made a really nice and tight hot spot with a usefull amount of spill.
The hot spot is awesome.
Won't get hot after one minute of driving the XG-G at 1,2A (XP-G is mounted on a small aluminium board and glued with arctic silver 2k. Spreads the heat very well.
Cons: Very sensitive reflector coating becomes scratches very easily so don't even think of touching it inside the reflctor.
Build quality is medium. There are deep groovings with chippings in it.
Other: Great reflector for the money. Only the machining could be a little bit better.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: this is the OP(orange peel) style, which means more spill and less throw, but trust me when I say that this throws WELL. and gives a very good amount of side spill for when needed up close. With a well driven and well sinked XML, light can reach few hundred feet with no problem. Make sure to use some kind of separation between the emitter and reflector as to not create a short since its all metal.
Cons: Scratches somewhat easily....although most aluminum reflectors do, use a slight damp tissue to LIGHTLY clean if really really necessary otherwise leave it alone, you won't be able to tell in the beam. PROTECT emitter from shorting out... otherwise no other cons, works really well
Other: WELL worth the price, I have purchased two and will purchase more
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - perfect fit for an SSC-P7 LED - very high quality, very well milled, shiny reflector surface - all copper base, very good thermal conductivity - plastic ring included to prevent LED plate from touching reflector and casing short circuit - nice hot spot - reflector and springs are packaged separately to prevent scratching in package
Cons: none really
Other: I highly recommend this reflector, and for this price, you can't go wrong!
