Pros: Great for lenses with hoods. Worth buying for the Engrish alone.
Cons: Plastic looks a bit cheap.
Other: Make your inspiration always on line.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very solid plastic. The cord is also well built. The length is enough so that your left hand can simply hold the cord and have the cap dangling.
Cons: None really.
Other: Must buy! I almost lost my Canon cap while photographing at the Chute Montmorency in Quebec... Those of you that know this waterfall know that dropping a cap between the wooden plank is not fun.

Pros: Very practical lid for the objective.
Can be fastened simply and certainly by the provided cord to the objective.
Hence, it cannot get lost. To use simply also with solar screen.
The lid can be very simply taken by the inside-recumbent intervention and be retired.
The processing is very good for this price.
Cons: No Cons!!!
Other: Very inexpensive objective lid. Also very well as a substitute suitable.
I will further order from the objective lids.
For this price one must simply strike.

Pros: - Easy to use
- It has a cord
- I said, it has a cord! No other explanation is
needed.
- Price is acceptable
- The cord is the only reason why I bought it.
Cons: -I don't like the fact that the cord has no 'snap-on'
cords to easily snap-on/snap-off when changing lenses.
Other: I only bought it because it has a cord. It would not
be fun to lose the lens cap while out on a trip.
Now the cord keeps the cap safe.

Pros: This is definitely the bext imitation Nikon front lens cap I've seen. Far better than the Optex pieces of garbage sold in the local camera shop. The releases are nice and springy and the plastic feels quite high quality. It even fits on my Nikkon 105 f2.5 that has a severely dented filter ring.
Cons: Nothing. I don't need the string, so I just cut it off.
Other: If you buy old lenses off ebay that don't come with lens caps, get these little guys for great savings and functionality.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The price is right. This does the job to a certain degree. It is nice to the feel, well manufactured with even textures and clean cut. This string is useful in this case.
Cons: The string is useful because the cap can easily pop off. If you are using a lens filter just be sure there is enough thread in the filter to allow for this item to grasp. Other than that, no cons.
Other: This is great for the price. If you are looking for a cheap cap, you got it. If you are looking to protect your high end lenses in a trip etc, get a cap comparable to your lens.

Pros: I needed something with a cord and this has it. The cord is stretchable and long enough. It fits longer lenses even with my extension tube on.
Cons: Not satisfied with the quality of this product. The clip isn't tight enough. It keeps coming off and i doubt i can use it at all. It comes off whenever i place my camera into the camera bag. However, this might also be my luck since no one else complained about this issue.
Other: I donno, hopefully the one you get is fully functionable?
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Just does the job. And it has the cord to attach it to camera body. It seats tight enough on the lens. The plastic is solid and textured, so you'll not see fingerprints on it.
Cons: No. Not at all.
Other: I could buy the similar thing even cheaper, but without a cord and less comfortable in use. So, this one is worth the price.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Have served my well ever since i got it a few years back. A very inexpensive way to replace all those side pinch caps to centre pinch style which is great when taking the cap off with the lens hood on. All lens cap should be designed in a way that its easy to put on or take off even with the lens hood on
Cons: None i can think of. The string is not necessary and the loop could be remove if that can bring down the cost even further.
Other: Get it... very usable and handy. DX rocks
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Inner/outer cap release design (good if you're using lens hood). The strap is firm and long enough. Feels sturdy and good enough. Good surface, fair good plastic.
Cons: Only major con is the how is the strap attached. I you have filter on, its good, but if you use it on something like Canon S2 or lens with lens hood on/in standby position, the strap hitch is causing not very good fit on lens, so the cap can easily fall of. There is not a non-invasive solution (other than put filter on lens and then cap).
Other: Great cap, fine price, but there are some issues which you should be aware of.
