Pros: Cheap and effective

Cons: Had to remove plastic loop fpy retaining cord for it to work on my retractable lens on my Panasonic camera

Other: A little expensive, but much cheaper to buy through DealExtreme than anywhere else thanks to the free shipping.

Pros: Fits lens very snuggly. The centre pinch is nice and stiff. The tether can be a handy feature if you don't change your lens that often.

Cons: While the tether can be beneficial, it can become a nuance if you change the lens a lot. But not a big deal, it can always be removed.

The material used for this lens cap is polystyrene, which is quite fragile, and prone to shattering.

Other: Excellent replacement lens cap for vintage lenses!

Pros: It is a cheap lens cap with strap on it so I will never forget about my cap.
It fits prefectly with my Alpha a300 and excellent length of the strap that reachs the body of the camera.
It fits onto the filter lens attached too.

Cons: The surface texture looks cheap, but I guess with this price, not much that you can complain.

Other: You can not find a cheaper lens cap anywhere else other than deal extreme. it is a must have for DSLR if you tend to leave your caps around and forget them all the time. Excellent buy.

Pros: Cheap and cheerful lenscap. Fits well and seems sturdy enough, doesn't feel cheap. Nice to have the little string already attached to stop you losing it, saves having to buy one separately, and it’s long enough to be able to fit a reosanble size telephoto or zoom. At this price you can easily afford to buy a couple of spares.

Cons: None that I can think of. Fanboys may not like the fact that there is no camera brand name shown on the front.

Other: Cheap, simple and it works as it should, and only about a third of the price of the ‘real thing’.

Pros: In general the build quality is quite good, it doesn't seem that it's going to break tomorrow like many other things in dx.
It has a very well thought design because you can put and remove without disassembling the lens hood.

Cons: The cord is a good idea, but i thing that it is unuseful in dslrs because you have nowhere to attache it and i thing that it is quite messy having it hanging around.

Other: I'm happy with that. It could be cheaper but the quality it is not bad

Cons: It would be better if the cord attached to the lens cap via a ring that's within the cap and not sticking out.

Other: It's a great lens cap and the price is very low. If you need a 55mm lens cap, get this.

Security strap cord has nice length and dosn't get in way of lens area when hanging (was the reason I lost my original Sony lens cover because it didnt have anti missing cord)

Other: Buy it if you need good replacement lens cover for your digital camera lens :-)

Pros: Pretty cheap and fits all 55mm lenses nicely. Good replacement for much pricier original manufacturer lens cap counterparts. The overall build quality is alright. The plastic is sturdy and looks like it could withstand a blow to the lens.

Cons: Material is all plastic even the spring mechanism. The extra cord is useless in my opinion and is even troublesome if the camera is put into a bag.

Other: After one month of heavy use the lens cap is still doing its job nicely. I've taken it off and put it on again probably 200x times. Only time will tell how long the plastic mechanism will last. So far I'm quite happy with the quality and the price was very competitive.
