Pros: - Powerful - Zoom motor smooth and quiet - Intuitive and comfortable controls - Very reliable - Great build quality, feels very solid - Awesome recycle speed - Multi mode from 1shot/1Hz to 100shots/100Hz - Optical slave works great - Built-in reflector card and diffuser
Cons: - Maybe I could say that sound indicator is sometimes annoying, but it´s easily disabled just by pushing one button.
Other: I really love this flash unit. I think it´s the best item I´ve ever purchased on DX. 100% Recommended. If you need a good and cheap manual flash, this is your best choice!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Great price and all the features you can expect from a manual flash unit. Regulable power (1/1 - 1/128) Zoom head Stroboscopic function Slave function Difuser, and reflective card
Cons: Maybe somewhat big. But not too much
Other: A recommended flash for anyone who wants to enhace his pictures lighting. The slave function allows to trigger the flash remotely with not wires at all, and allows you to create nice lighting configurations

Pros: This is a great option when choosing a speedlite-type flash for your camera. Although non-TTL type, it's easy of use is really impressive. The Guide number of 58 (Zoom 105/ISO 100) is a little overestimated, I think, but this is not a problem, the flash is still powerful enough. The zoom motor is very silent, the commands are very easy to find and the amber-illuminated LCD contains all the informations needed. Works well in all modes (Master, Slave 1 & 2 and multi (strobe) flash (although I don't see a real use for the last one).
Cons: NO cons whatsoever
Other: I will strongly recommend it for anyone who wants a non-TTL flash for Nikon cameras.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good purchase for its price. Everything works as it should. Recycle time is about 2s on good batteries depending on the flash output power which is also pretty good. Optical slave offers good sensitivity and the flash can be triggered with on-camera flash.
Cons: Nothing so far.
Other: For photo enthusiast on a budget or a cheap pro. I bought it for a use in strobist studio as a fill or slave flash, depending on the setup. Combining this flash with radio triggers offers additional value and versatility.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Low price for such a powerful quality flash - Optical Wireless Slave Modes - Comes with built-in Diffuser and Reflector - Zoom Motor is very quiet (you won't really notice it) - Switchable sound for rechargind - Fast Recharging
Cons: - No Radio Wireless Slave option - non-TTL flash (Its a Full Manual Flash to begin with)
Other: Though its certainty not at the level of Canon's EX580II, YN560-II is one not to be missed if you want powerful speedlite without the hefty price tag.

Pros: Best flash for the money. Perfect for a low-cost studio. Strong, beautiful and durable. Good catch. Good power. There is a zoom. Regultrovka power. fast charging
Cons: For the money there is no cons. For that kind of money does not even notice that the flash is fully manual
Other: Best flash for the money. Perfect for a low-cost studio. Super.

Pros: It is very easy to user, much better than the first 560 that i already own. The LCD is very useful, you see the increments on the screen in 1/3 of a stop, not the LED increments from the mk I that you had to guess or you had to remember the exact power level for each incrementation.
Cons: Beside 560 I and II , i also have RF-603 Yongnuo that are very good but with this 560 II i had a bad experience. At an event the flash , connected the RF-603, blew out without using it in that moment. I opened it when i arrived at home and i find out that a capacitor was blown out. Because you don't have warranty or it is diffcult to return it tu dx.com now i lost 75 $
Other: a very goof flash for the money
