Pros: Nicer than the one that came with the Canon lens that it was replacing and for about 1/3rd the price of another 'official' Canon cover.

Other: If you have the need, get two!

Pros: Fits the lens perfectly Has the strap so you can't misplace it Easy to take off and put on

Cons: The cord could be a little bit longer for longer lenses

Pros: Fits perfectly and even comes with a strap. I have to be very hones, I was expecting much less of this item, but was so happy when received. The price for this small piece in stores can be really abusive. I thought it could also be a bit loose for protecting the lenses, but it fits as if it came with the camera.

Cons: Nothing at all

Other: For this price you can't find it anywhere, even if you're in a very cheap country. I went to check republic and looked for this item, and found it still expensive. No store can beat dealextreme

Pros: I received this lenscap recently and was quite impressed with what I got. It has a nice strap, is easy to use and has the same kind of ergonomic grips and snap-zones as the Nikon lenscaps.

Cons: The plastic this was manufactured from doesn't feel as high-quality as other brands, but otherwise doesn't affect performance.

Other: Better priced and better featured than many lenscaps I've seen for sale.

Pros: - It has a cord - I said, it has a cord! No other explanation is needed. - Price is acceptable - The cord is the only reason why I bought it.

Cons: -I don't like the fact that the cord has no 'snap-on' cords to easily snap-on/snap-off when changing lenses.

Other: I only bought it because it has a cord. It would not be phone to lose the lens cap while out on a trip. Now the cord keeps the cap safe.

Pros: - mechanically sound
- fits my 58mm camera lens perfectly
- cord keeps the thing along if going gets rough (or you have a bad memory; "now where did I put that lens cover..." ;) )
- can be used with lens attachments as you can press / release it from the middle

Cons: - doesn't look as "posh" as orignal equipment, nor does it come with any camera, or other, brand logo (which might be a pro, come to think of it ;) ).

Other: Brand name covers cost 3-10 times more here and even non-brand name ones cost 2-5 more, so you can't really go wrong with this price and quality.
