5mW 532nm Green Laser Module (3V 11.9mm)

Pros: This laser is brighter than my 10mw green laser from a different supplier it works well with 2 rechargeable AA batteries.
I could add a different switch easily without taking off the one it has.
It is so cheap you can afford it easily and if you kill it not a huge loss at the price.

Cons: The circuit board is held in place only by the leads from the laser diode and not attached to the housing at all.
Not focusable.
It only works when it is warm above 15 degrees Celsius. Below that it drops to about 5% of it's starting brightness in less than a second.

Other: Unless you want to burn things or blind yourself this is great and at the price you cant go far wrong.
Get one even if you don't need it you will find a use.

Pros: The price and brightness. I use these for building laser vortex's for halloween and these blow away the ones I used last year

Cons: be gentle handling these...build is not as sturdy as the ones I used last year but could not pass up the price.

Other: ordered 3 to test and 1 was bad so seeing how well replacement policy is. if good, will be ordering more of these. Working on new design for vortexs so once it's set in concrete you'll see another order or so

Pros: Seems well built, and very bright for is stated 5mw output, which suggests it may be doing even more.
- Small, and I mean quite small. it is a lot smaller than I had expected it to be.
- No power fluctuations.
- Adjustable focus.
- Reasonable price.

Cons: Could be a little cheaper.
- Was backordered for quite some time.
- Easy to kill the diode if you barely go over 5V input

Other: Great module, producing more power than it's rated for, and for a reasonable price. Good for little projects that require a small, bright laser

Pros: Very powerful, considering the 5mW rating. Able to faintly make out the beam in a lighted room. The dot is clearly visible on the hillside out my window ~0.5 mile away in the late afternoon/evening.

Cons: Very poor soldering. The wires aren't actually soldered on, they are basically glued to the module. The red wire on mine was completely detached and I had to figure out where it went in order to reattach it.

Other: It's a great buy for a DIY project, and a great price, it just takes a bit of work.

Pros: Very nice laser module! I am use on I=350ma output power less 50 mw

Cons: bright, low price

Other: Great for DIY applications. If you can't even solder, this just needs a power source. A square or box design would be nice, but overall a decent build with quite a few applications. I really hope to see other frequencies offered soon. Combined with a similar power red and blue, blue/violet you could make a nice "laser show" unit.

Pros: nice green laser , you can see it at night quite a nice price. but is is chinese quality so its a good idea to buy more than one!

Cons: leads tend to drop of , so you need some soldering skills to make them work. i also thought that the button on the laser was a bit annoing. also its a bit of a shame that its a 3 volt laser , it would have been nicer if it had been a 5 volt laser like the new wish , but the new wish broke quickly after overvoltage.

Other: good quality price ratio
