What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: This display can operate in SPI mode, which is a huge benefit when you need the fewest pin count. The backlight is nice and bright and the contrast is adjustable on the back with a pot. Works out of the box with Arduino u8glib.
Cons: The backlight needs to be wired separately from the display inputs, and there seems to be no documentation on the current or voltage required for the backlight. The backlight isn't adjustable on the board.
Other: The resolution is good at 128x64, the price is good, and the display speed is decent enough for updating outputs/data many times per second. There is a little LCD lag, but it isn't a problem unless you're trying to do high speed graphics.

Pros: Very easy to use in I2C Screen quality is excellent Construction is very good
Cons: Can't find a good explanation of how to use it in 8 bit parallel mode, so I don't know how fast the refresh rate is and thus I can't really determine how well it would function for heavy graphic displays. Other than that it's absolutely perfect.
Other: For 13 bones, you can't beat it.

Pros: Good clear screen Pindiscription at the pins Verry fast screen Good and nice blue backlight Strong Good soldering pads. They are verry strong
Cons: none its just a great screen
Other: Good screen if you wan't to go cheap but good. It works even better than a 60 dollar screen with same specifications
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - VERY VERY VERY VERY CHEAP (the cheapest GLCD screen I ever saw) - working fine for more than 5 months without any problem, - adjustable screen brightness , - powerful blue/white contrast, - totally compatible with Arduino (even Arduino nano) - connects through SPI interface = needs only 3 connectors (+VCC, GND, brightness, etc.) - easy to use with Arduino “U8glib” library (available on the Internet), which do not require a lot of coding knowledge, - it is also easy to convert images into code to be shown on the screen (using the software “U8GlibCreator” for instance)
Cons: NONE AT ALL !!!
Other: If you are buying or are already possessing an Arduino board, add this item to you order, you will always find a way to use it !

Pros: Very nice clear display. Nice blue backlight, and relatively easy to get going with some tips. Ideal for my small project and seems like it is solidly built.
Cons: No instructions, so novices would need some help to get going - not quite a plug and play, but fairly close.
Other: Excellent value display - would buy more.

Pros: With help of the very helpful Tipps in the DX Forum for this product it was very easy to set up and run it using the U8glib for Arduino.
Cons: none so far
Other: Easy to use product with perfect result for my needs. Good to handle with an Arduino UNO in SPI mode. This will save a lot of cables and it is still fast enough. I used PINs 10,11,13 to get it running. But I found no speed improvements using this hw MOSI Pins insted of Software SPI.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This is cheapest GLCD that i found.
Cons: Product is missing datasheet. There is no clear mart witch display chip or interface is used. Mine just have mark 12864B which is not very helpful.
Other: I recommend this product
